Here is a stitch pattern with a twist. This pattern is the twisted or slanted stitch pattern. This pattern is great to give any project a double take. This pattern can be used for various projects such as sweater, border on a hat, scarf and even dresses.
This is a 2 row pattern that is repeated till you achieve your desired length.
*Steps*
Row 1: purl the whole row
Row 2: k1, *(k1 between next two stitches from row below, s1), repeat * till 1 st remaining, k1
Row 3: p1, *(p2tog), repeat * till 1 st remaining, p1
Repeat Row 2 & 3 till desired length
