How to knit MINI-PUMPKINS for HALLOWEEN

//ABOUT THIS VIDEO//
Celebrating Halloween and Fall by creating mini-pumpkins of various colors. Perfect projects to do with the kids as well.
A quick, easy and simple project to do to celebrate Halloween and Fall.
*Making pumpkin base*
Cast on 20 stitches
Rows 1-4: knit complete row
Row 5: purl complete row
*Rows 6-10: knit complete row
*Row 7: purl complete row
Repeat * till piece measures 9"
Fold wrong way, sew two sides. Flip right side up, fill with stuffing. Sew the last open part.
*Making stem*
Create using I-cord method
Cast on 10 stitches
Knit till piece measures 2.5"
Fold right side, sew all sides
Sew to pumpkin base.
*Making Leaf*
Create using I-cord or crotchet method
For I-cord method, cast on 3-4 stitches.
For crotchet, create 20 stitches before moving to row 2.

    It turned out ok even though half way through I noticed at the beginning I knitted 5 rows not 4.

    I used DK, not chunky. Most of my projects I use weight 4 for yarn. Hope that helps.
