//ABOUT THIS VIDEO//
This is a pattern that looks like a chain or one knot after another. This pattern can be used great for scarves, cowls, and even hats and sweaters. It can be used as borders or on either side of a front open sweater. This pattern is a 12-row pattern that is repeated till you get the desired length.
TIPS
- you would need to cast a multiple of 9 stitches + 2-4 stitches on either side as border.
- you could make distance between each knot anywhere from 8-16 sts per your preference
STEPS
Cast on desired stitches for border + 9 stitches for pattern
(For demonstration, I will cast on 4 extra sts on either side of pattern)
Row 1: knit till end of row
Row 2: k4, p9, k4
Repeat Rows 1-2 10 times
Row 11: k4, k6, (turn over, s1, p2, turn over, s1, k2)*; repeat * for 8 times in total , knit till end of row
Row 12: k4, p9, k4
Repeat these 12 rows till get desired length
