Did you use fuses inline with your projector solenoids? Do you know what the current rating is for the solenoids?

So if I already have projectors, I can put these in? With a ballast of course. I was just confused because I read a few different places that the bulbs themselves aren't interchangeable

(Old but) What is very good about this is the color of the bulbs available! He used 4700K. That is much better than 6000-6500K! If I did this I would probably use 5000K. However, also probably, I would do as you want and use LEDs at 6000K because I am rarely in bad weather and no snow. (But, I am thinking about moving to another state. Colorado.) Of course, there are off-road 5000K lights that may possibly be used.

Do we need to consider the rating of our old bulb and match it to the new? And is there any other to consider as we modify or we add something to the electrical system of the vehicle that affect affect the function of electrical system of the car? I have Ford everest 2018 trend model what can you suggest that best fit to it. Hope you can still answer my question. Thank you very much.

Nice video. Does the H1 bulb connect to the high beam wire or the low beam wire? The wire that you drilled the hole for, where do you get a connector for that? I'm assuming the black wire goes to ground and the red wire goes either to the high beam wire or to the low beam wire. Which one?

For the H1 bulb connection, they will connect to a ground (black) and low beam hot coming from the car (red). Since I used a bi-xenon style projector, the wiring/connector I drilled a hole for is part of the projector, it’s included. These wires will need ground (black wire for projector high beam) and the high beam hot wire when highs are flashed or activated (red wire on high harness coming from projector).

I would love to do this, but looks way to complex. I could get the aftermarket retrofit projector headlights, but they get water in them easily. I guess I’ll just stick to my reflector housings. 😢

(Old but) You could do this. Don't overly concern yourself. The worse that could happen is you decide, NO, then just put the parts up for sale to get your money back. (Or, return them if you can.)

Yes, I believe so. Without the flap it will always act like a high beam.

I've built some of these myself and all the "high beam" connector does is flip a small plate down out of the way of the light. That small plat is what gives the sharp light cut off and it's flipped by the small motor inside the projector. Power is constantly applied to the 9007 bulb and it's not like the H4 bulb which has 2 separate circuits inside the bulb. What type of bulb does your car use? H4 or 9007?

There's usually a splitter wire that connects off your main lighting harness that activates the high beam

You would use the vehicle’s headlight adjusting screws. Since this projector is in exactly the same position as the factory installed bulb would be, the aiming process will be the same. Usually, the owner’s manual will have a section on adjusting headlights.

You can measure your light housing, but most retrofit projectors are 2.5” or 3” and should fit almost all housings.

Would this work on the 1992-1999 chevy Suburban/truck/Tahoe gmt400. Nobody makes a decent aftermarket light so they need to be made.

You can purchase plug N play connectors to enable easy wiring for the H1 kit. An example would be 9003 to H1 wiring kit. It should work.

I approached this with all the confidence in the world . I still cracked the glass 😒

Yes…and to have a mechanical and adhesive type redundancy to ensure the shroud will always be vibration free.
