I really liked the strap holding the front up from the ceiling beam. I have a Rebel and not many special motorcycle jacks and stands. I know that I never would have come up with that idea on my own. Thanks for a real nice video. God bless, ride safe.

First, it was the makeshift oil pan made out of a cardboard box, garbage bag, and masking tape. Then it was the sketchy bike stand which was just a wooden peg. Then we had the funnel which was just a rolled up page from a waste/recycling collection calendar. Now, we have a "lift" made out of a garage beam and a ratchet strap😂👍🏼

You ever figure out if it fits?

Planning on doing this soon. My only question (and sorry if this sounds stupid).....is it possible to push the fork "too far" when putting it back into position? In other words...how do i re-align both forks correctly before tightening the bolts?

The fork should be sticking out a few mm each at the top and exactly even with one another. Torquing the bolts properly is very important.

My torque wrench only has Nm and not foot pounds. Anyone know how to covert? I don't want to over/under tighten!

(Nm) Top bridge pinch bolt 27, bottom 32. Calliper mount bolts 30, Axle 51, axle pinch bolts 20. (from the manual)
