How to Install Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers - 2014-18 Mazda 3

In this video I install carbon fiber mirror covers on my Mazda 3.

Super easy install and requires a few simple things and less than 10 minutes of your time.
Just for clarification, no it isn't real carbon fibber. It is Hydro dipped, but it looks pretty good. Similar to the Carbon fibber interior trims pieces you can buy.

Nice! Have any other links for mods for the Mazda 3. gpymfg.com is a good find but limited on selection. Looking for a rear spoiler to accent the OEM.

Looking at the rear wheel at 2:14- Ever consider wheel spacers?? I think a flush kit would look pretty good.

Or using a hottt wet cloth and plastic blade and take it off slowly.

@@GregPettus I prefer not to play with lacquer thinner. would be good if you can make a video on how to safely remove a well bonded accessory (via 3M molding or VHB) without damaging the paint. ❤️ I'm sure lots of people are searching for a video example. I have a mount taped to my dash and I'm afraid that if I pull too hard that it can damage the dashboard. A video guide will help a lot of people.

These adhesive tape are not too strong and won't damage paint, there not real 3m, they more like knockoff 3m but durable on plastics
Mine are on the way, I'm thinking of paint matching mine because I'm not a fan of the fake carbon fiber look

Painting 'em gloss black is a SMART idea guys. I'm getting a pair of gloss black ones cuz I'm not a fan of fake CF look as well. Let's save Mazda's reputation by avoiding buying fake CF products. Although Mazda has already made some of their interior panels fake CF :((
