Can you put it on a replacement after popping it off?

Don't entirely understand your question, but I'll try to answer it. Yes you can put on a replacement mirror cover after you remove the old one. And yes you can put the old one back on after, as long as you didn't break all the clips when taking it off. Hope this helps :)

i tried this on my 05 mazda 3 and i broke one of the clips lol its not easy as it looks like
