Dude, you just made me dad of the year in my 3 year old’s eyes. We bought him and his brother these Razors for Christmas. Our youngest immediately wrecked because he was going to fast. He refused to get back on it until today. Thanks so much for making this video!

Just got this for my 5year olds bday today. Wife said 8mph seemed fast. Was watching video then started laughing when I seen the potentiometer. Just took one out from a PTAC unit a few weeks ago and didn’t have the heart to throw it away. Now it’s gonna go to good use. Thanks brother.

Thank you so much! My nephew was scared to hell because it is too fast! I bought a 5k potentiometer and wires for less than 2 bucks. I ended up placing the knob above the on/off switch. Drilled a little hole with a Dremel and screwed!

Works great on the razor rsf350 also wire colours are green to brown thou. I used a 50k ohm that i had laying around, but it only works until about 3/8 turn or less, it does slow the bike down drastically thou at the right setting. Thanks for the video.

I have a simple 3 wire aftermarket throttle. Red, Black, Green. I can't get it to work. I think because the 6 pin controller is looking for the on/off of the 6 pin throttle when it's turned a little bit. How do I bypass that?

At 3:41 I show the POTS. They have 3 pins, doesn’t matter which wire goes to which pin but one goes to the middle pin and other wire goes to either side of that.

Hello my sons dirt quad is broke, when you twist the throttle is only clicks. If you give it a push it turns on and moves untill you let off the throttle the needs to be pushed again. Any ideas what that could be?? Thanks in advance

They are spinning the right way.. This phenomenon is known as the "wagon-wheel" effect. ... So when a wheel seems to spin in a direction opposite its actual rotation, it's because each spoke has come up a few degrees shy of the position it occupied when it was last imaged by the camera. In this case is not the spokes but the knobs on the tires. This is sometimes referred to as the reverse-rotation effect also. Hope you enjoyed the video and it was helpful.
