I saw one of the comment below suggesting the power drill batteries. Thats what i used and its awesome. I had so many and the charge time is 30 mins not 12 hours. I forst did a power wheels upgrade from 12v to 18v and it was amazing not just speed but run time was 3 x more. The same with these. The power is greater and run time twice the regular but best part is you just pop them out and pop one in like a drill so no down time. With 4 batteries they can run non stop all day if you have a power source to charge.

Do you think using a 40v power tool battery and adapter instead of big sla will be more cost effective for the duration? 6ah 40v are around $85 on amazon and adapters are $20. Mounting the adapter in an easy to get to place will allow for quick swapping, and I have a couple of ryobi 5ahs for my yard tools I can have in reserve.

2 - 36volt 10s 4P ''10 amp'' Lithium packs in parallel, with built in BMS, would rock on this !! , Might need a 1000 watt motor & 15amp ESC though .. Plan on doing that to a Mega moto E -1000 minibike, & using 2 chargers, to charge each pack separate. 2 of these packs weigh about the same as 1 - 12 volt lead acid battery, weight savings is over 66 % !! Will also be making a parallel harness using 12 g ''R/C type'' Silicone insulation wire & XT - 90 connectors. Lastly, will be running 2 LED ''mini'' battery monitors, one for each pack plugged into the charge leads, * mounted in a frame on the handle bar cross bar. Run time & performance ''am guessing'',, should go up at least 20-25 % I74

It's about amp hours. Unless you want to pay way more for Milwaukee 9amp or 12amp batteries than what you can just buy the 12V for. The reality is that the extra power puts too much demand on the motor and gears. You need to get the power adjustment and inline fuse. My kid trax dodge ram blows the fuse when my boy and his little sister are both in it going up even a slight hill even I have the juice turned up. There is a website that has upgraded parts stage IV is under $300 with battery and everything you need. Upgraded metal gears, motor, batteries...

Mine is able to move a adult around flat land and downhill fast. But struggles badly to climb any inclines. It might need just the Controller or also a 750 Watt Motor to move 180 ibs...? Please lmk if it climbs with adult weight? Thank you
