What are size of the screws at the very end?

It would be helpful to say that the batteries in the box are usually bad. Replacing them with new batteries got me past the red light failure. Another problem is that the cord can rub against the bolt causing the bolt to not move smoothly. I had to fiddle with the cable to get it to fit in without rubbing against the bolt. Seems like a design flaw.

I am having the EXACT same issue with the cable. No matter how I tuck it in, as soon as I attach it unit to the mount, the cable gets untucked and is rubbing up with the bolt causing the "jam." Super annoying. It's just an expensive bolt at the moment until I figure this out. If I don't, I am returning it.

I have the same issue with the cord…! I’ve been using the key :-(

Well, the cord can be maneuvered to get to work properly but it’s tricky. I’m no handyman but fiddled with it enough and finally was able to get it to a spot that stayed clear of the bolt. It’s just a poor design.
