You guys did a great job. I bought the integrated tail light, the fender eliminator and the LED stealth Universal fit license plate. Ninja 300 is my first bike ever, I have never worked in a bike before, I just followed the instructional videos. With the videos and the product you guys developed I realized the only problem was my skills working with the motorcycle. You can be proud of the product was created because they are very well done and look awesome. Congratulations.

I'm so glad you had such a good experience with our products and videos. This video was produced a decade ago at our old facility in a spare room. At the present time we have a dedicated studio with better equipment, and professionals doing the shooting/editing. i love every single thing about this video except the end where you didn't show us installing everything back, some people watch DIY videos and pause to follow along and the end where you barely showed the end product, instead you gave us these motion glamour shots like the cameraman was auditioning to be a swimsuit model photographer. other than that great video learned a lot, but what was the 4th connector on the bike that you left unplugged for?

I love the TST FE, I have it on my 2014 636. I love the plate that comes with it that covers the hole the stock one leaves behind.

If you are asking about the reciprocating twist ratchet then it is a Husky. I believe Snap-on and Matco also make a version.

PLEASE ANSWER i just bought the integrated taillights from TST and it worked awesome!!!! I got a separate fender eliminator with licence plate lights (required where I live) the question is, where do I plug the wiring from the license plate lights? thanks

You are removing your fender with the OEM license plate light in order to put on a fender eliminator. The OEM license plate light has a wire and a plug. You can cut off some of the wire with the plug from the OEM setup you are removing and wire your license plate into that. This way you preserve the plug-and-play capability and it's the easiest method as well.

looks really tidy, great video. I don't think that the tail light indicator assembly is legal in Australia which is a real pity

Jonathan ortega The kit is configurable so that if you want our license plate light you can get one. We did not do a license plate light installation in this video because we have a separate video for the installation of that part and didnt want to do a redundant install and extend the timeline of this video any further. With today's people's add level even a 16 minute video is a hard sell.

What tool is needed for the screw to get the seat off? I've got a full set of allen keys, but none seem to be the right size.

The relay is located behind the right tail half, as shown in this video. If you remove the rear signals the system will stop flashing and the front signals will just stay on. If you replace the relay to an electronic LED type relay then the flashing will be restored. I do not recommend riding around without signal lights though.

How come you don't include something to block that hole from removing the old tail assembly?

We are preparing to design an Elite-1 fender eliminator system for this bike. Our Elite-1 series fender eliminators do have a CNC aluminum block off plate. The do cost more because the design process, manufacturing, anodizing, etc. add to the cost. They will be available later this year.

If you go into the taillight ad on our site you will see the dropdown menus below. Those menus will allow you to select the components you want to add to make a package that is right for you. I would recommend getting the LED Flasher Relay, Fender Eliminator, and License Plate Light if you want your bike to turn out the same way that the one in the video did.

TST, i know personally i would pay top dollar if you figured a way to utilize that hole from the stock fender for a licences plate light. it would be perfect if you used the two inside holes for the bracket. I just dont like how cheap that universal plate light looks.

Our universal license plate light is meant to be as low-profile as possible. It is very difficult to make something this small without using injection molding. If we were to machine a license plate enclosure out of billet and then anodize it, the cost of these lights would be three times what it is...and then nobody would buy them.

You sure can. You will have to wire up the system in a way that your OEM signals are plugged in and the positive from the taillight signal circuit is spliced into the positive of the OEM signal for each side. This will also do away with the need for use of resistors or an LED flasher relay.

When I install my taillight my blinkers work but my taillight stays the same brightness even when braking, any idea how to fix?

I've got two questions: 1. What is the distance of the two holes to install the license plate to your new fender? Im from Germany and im not sure, wheather our license plates have the size or not, and it would be a bummer if i get the fender and then my license plate doesnt fit. 2. Is there no License plate light included in your set?

ExoY TV We have two slots instead of holes that are used to mount the license plate to the bracket. The range of mounting distance is 5.5-6 inches. The license plate light is an add-on part that can be included for a small extra charge if you opt for it in the dropdown menu at the bottom of the ad

That sounds like you may have caused a short circuit at some point and blew the signaling fuse. Please check your fuses.

The relay and programmable tail lights are two separate things but the signal circuit and the flash rate rely on the flasher relay to control the speed of the signals. It would be best to purchase a relay as its plug-play-play and you will only need one for your entire bike but if you don’t, you can technically purchase resistors and wire those in to slow the flash rate so you can have the signals flash at the correct speed. We highly recommend the relay for ease.

@@aljonaquino3079 flasher relay controls the front and rear signals. It is not part of the brake light circuit. If your signals are not flashing, and are just stuck on, then you need to wire in resistors to increase current draw in each signal lamp branch, or replace the relay with one that works with LED signals and your bike.

Going from memory it is an 8mm socket. You can also use a box or open ended wrench of the same size.

They are Resistors that are used to fix your turn signal flash rate. They do require some wiring to be installed, but If you are not comfortable with doing so, then we recommend installing our LED Flasher Relay instead. It is 100% plug n' play and it will fix any signaling issues you encounter. why the OEM relay does not work with the intergrated taillight? I want to keep both fender taillights and the intergrated ones on the bike, is it possible if I attact the left/right blinkers of the new tail light with the stock wirings of the fender, will it blink?

If you wire your OEM signals in parallel with the taillight's signals then you will not need to replace your relay.

Did you perhaps buy a different version of the fender eliminator? The one in this videoo is a bent stainless steel bracket, powdercoated black, and comes in one piece with some hardware for mounting. We sell multiple versions. The product page has the video installations for each version.

Does this also fit for the naked version Z300?

+Xavier Rivera are you asking about the rotator ratchet? That was a tool a couple companies made a while back under license from the patent holder. At this point only Stanley tooling makes them. Do a quick google search and you will find plenty of sources for this tool.

I looked on the site but can't find a fender eliminator for the 250R. would the 300 eliminator work on the 250?

The entire signaling system is controlled by one signal relay. This component sets the flash rate for all four signals. When you install our relay your front and rear signals will flash at the same rate. This will be 85 cycles per minute if you leave it unaltered, or you can adjust the speed by slipping off the grey cover and turning the small potentiometer on the circuit board.

We do have an alternate kit that does not include the integrated taillight, but instead comes with LED Pod Signals. The signals mount to brackets, that mount to the license plate mount. The whole kit comes with all you need to mount everything up, and color photo instructions. +superbest948 The adjustable bracket setup is the expensive part of the Elite-1 setup. The parts required to make the adjustable setup are all CNC machined aluminum with an anodized finish. It is expensive for us to make so the kit cost reflects that. The only way to get the adjustable setup is to buy the Elite-1 kit.

MisTurn PiOxygen The flasher relay controls the entire signaling system. It controls both the front and the rear signals. Whatever you set your flash rate to be on our flasher relay will be the blinking rate of your front and rear signals. If you don't want to adjust the flash rate then your signaling system will blink 85 cycles per minute just by plugging the TST Industries relay in. That rate is what the OEM relay sets.

John Rivers The standard taillight does not. We are working on a programmable circuit that will have strobe brake and sequential signals in addition to the standard light patterns. This variation of our taillight will likely be launching in the fall.

I just installed my programmable tail and the flasher relay. One thing I noticed is that during the sequential turn signal setting (which I love) does a weird "red only" blink on the left side, but the right side sequential works fine. The regular setting for the turn signals and brake light work just fine and the amber lights illuminate, so I find it strange that the sequential on the left side won't work. I haven't checked the plug ins etc. since I've installed the flasher relay. Has anyone had this problem (+ TSTIndustries)?

BrendanMoto did something sticky ever spill on or in the bike? Maybe soda or juice, or melted candy. There is a possibility that a sticky substance got in your plugs and is holding them together. Whatever you do, don't pull by the wires as you can rip them out of the crimps in the plugs. Inspect your plugs closely and see if the male can move within the female and it is in fact the locking tab that is holding the pair locked, and not a foreign substance.

I found out that all fender eliminators are illegal in Australia anyway... indicators must be at least 30cm apart and there must be a mud guard out to in line with the back of the wheel... however, an officer said, if you are responsible you wont get picked up on it.. but if you get pulled over, its easy targets.

Does this thing fit with kasawaki z250sl?

They do not. The 300 was redesigned totally so the taillight requires different steps to install, and the fender eliminator is totally different. We will be shooting video of the 250R installation soon. We already have a bike for the shoot so it's just a matter of days.

Hey, i installed this over a year ago and someone just pointed out the rear tail light is always bright as if im constantly holding down the break. Everything works fine other than that. have you heard of this happening before?

Chris Gammel Please check your brake switch on the lever and on the pedal. We have seen the switches get sticky, especially on the foot pedal. When they get sticky the brake light does not disengage when you come off the brakes. It will likely need a little adjustment.

is the integrated tail light legal in australia, are there laws restricting the placement of the blinkers ? or is it fine for the integrated ??

We have no way to know that information here in the USA. We have had many orders for this item from Australia and a few people who bought it even expressed to us how much they like it. I think the best course of action is to check with your local authorities and then make your decision.

Brent M i didnt exactly find out, but all threads i read, had said they were totally illegal. I've seen some bikes with them, but probably installed on the sly. I know how you feel, i installed a fender eliminator and some led blinkers on my ninja 300

Cameron Milne hey mate i just got my license and i had asked about fender eliminators. Apparently you have to have the blinkers still on there and if they want to get picky the fender has be past the rear axle. my instructor said that you should be fine aslong as you still have the blinkers tho

I dont think this is legal in the EU (GERMANY And The NETHERLANDS :( )
