We should focus on more of what we want in life rather than what we don’t want. Instead of saying “I don’t want to be mistreated” opt for “ I want to be treated with respect” ❤️

A tip I got from a book on CPTSD by Pete Walker: To fight those negative voices, give yourself permission to internally be angry at them and cuss them out. A lot of these voices come from abusive people such as our parents pouring this stuff on us when we were small, vulnerable children with no one to stick up for us. As adults to turn this around in our own heads, cussing those voices off has two benefits: 1)It reminds you that those voices are not yours and they're not welcome in your head 2)A deep vulnerable part of you is finally feeling like someone is sticking up for you -- not staying silent, not being some passive, wimpy enabler. Someone is saying how dare you and fuck off. It was a huge relief for me to read that and it makes total sense to me.

Stephanie, I found you about a year ago, when leaving my marriage of 32 years. I got tired of the narc she had become. As I am going through divorce, and am feeling lost in a desert, I actually check for something new from you daily. Sometimes it’s hard to listen to you, because it hits to close to home. Thank you for doing these videos, you have definitely found your calling.

Hi Stephanie - I’ve been a subscriber for about a year and you have changed my life for the better! Your videos helped educate me on narcissism and recovery, I was emotionally and physically abused during an 8 year marriage. I’m raising 2 kids on my own with no support whatsoever, it’s hard but you have taught me strategies to get through and discover my past wounds and I feel so much stronger. I’m interested in a free coaching session, it’s been 10 months since my separation and I’d be interested in hearing how I can ease into dating and attract a loving, healthy relationship into my life!

As someone who had to deal with narcissists more than I'd like to admit, its empowering to know its something that can be healed from. Hi Stephanie, I found your channel about a month ago and realize that I am continuing to think, behave, and make choices In the same unproductive ways that have plagued me my entire life. I have been in cognitive behavioral therapy and haven’t done much growing. I think life coaching is the way I need to go and I’d like to have a session with you to see if is a better way for me to change myself and my life. Thanks for everything that you do - I get hope and strength from your videos.

Thank you so very much.... I've attended a church that was good for 21 years, but the last 3 have been hell since a new, malignant narcissist "director" was put in charge, and he's extremely jealous of me. I literally can't take his abuse any more. Thank you for helping me see the light.
