So we've got 7 or 8 according to another commenter, but she says she's giving us 12.
Rilke said: "Let everything happen to you Beauty and terror Just keep going No feeling is final" Feel theese words deep inside you, every moment...you need nothing else.
Tips to improve self love 1. Practice self awareness: take responsibility for personal feelings 2. Practice positive self talk: listen to affirmation 3. Spending time alone: 4. Physical exercise: take care of yourself 5. Listen to your intuition 6. Practice forgiveness 7. Don't judge yourself: Love yourself unconditionally 8. Celebrate yourself
Ive always been an empath and a people pleaser. Blessing and curse. Recently i have been involved with a very toxic manipulative person and its been awful. I realised i needed to change my approach to these people and to work on myself its so difficult but i am much more aware now amd im starting to set boundaries and putting myself first and loving myself for once. Its taken me nearly 40 years to realise this! if you loveve yourself know who you are and are comfortable in your skin you'll attract the right people in your life the ones you deserve. Accept yourself first You shouldn't need to have to be accepted by others if they don't they shouldn't be in your life. Life lessons kids should be taught this stuff! Love your channel beautiful lady xx

Malignant Narcissists hunt for, search out, manipulate, and try to destroy empths like us..... I'm 58, have wasted too much time and energy dealing with those types. No more.

Exactly!! Nearly 58 here...who knew that self love meant that! Especially if we were never taught if you came from pack of narcs that you love because their family et al (which is the crux of my own hard re-wiring of past 5 decades) BUT their actions and behaviour are painful and damaging and real hell. Not a great role model for foundations to find partner out there.

I was thinking when next valentines day comes to get flowers delivered to me at work provided we are back in the office in Feb
I died when you talked about forgiveness. For a long time I have held this bitterness against an ex lover, wanting him to ultimately fail. He didnt. He moved on from me and is now happy. I realized that I havent forgiven him for the hurt he caused, nor myself for falling for his crap. But in the midst of it the fear of attaching to another person has also held me back. I decided to forgive both of us for being young and dumb and I feel so much lighter!

I'm only recently learning to love and prioritize myself after ending a narcissistic relationship- journaling, exercising, taking myself out for coffee, being mindful of my thoughts, skincare, investing in good clothes or shoes just for my sake, reconnecting with friends and playing with my dog. Sometimes I just want to reinstate my own thoughts as to why it is so important to do this to heal me. That's when I come to your channel Stephanie, its inspiring how clear your thought process is and I aim to reach that someday. Sending love from India💜

I’m going through a self healing journey but the hardest thing about it is not knowing what healthy thoughts/emotions/actions etc actually are. It makes me doubt or question myself when it comes to standing up for myself or putting myself first around the people I know. Sometimes I feel like I’m a bad person for trying to get my needs met. I was brought up in a very unhealthy environment and was never taught what you are teaching the world. If it wasn’t for videos like these and people like you on KZread I wouldn’t know there was another way to live and continued my life in a environment that was unsafe/unhealthy for me but also my comfort zone because that’s all I’ve known. Thank you for showing me there is another way and because of that I feel more at peace in my inner self.
This is truly eye opening. Please don't ever stop doing what you do. Again and Again and Again. -Thank you Always💙
Yes, listening to our intuition and trusting ourselves is proof of self-love and healing.
1. Practice self awareness to monitor your thoughts and feelings. Reminder to check in with yourself on feelings. 2. Replace -ve with +ve thoughts by listening to positive self affirmation/talk. Can do +ve affirmation before going to bed. Supportive thoughts come from yourself whereas negative thoughts come from the wounds and detach from those. 3. Spending time alone. Be happy with yourself now. 4. Listening to intuition. 5. Practice forgiveness for yourself. 6. Love yourself unconditionally..flaws, good stuff. 8. Celebrate and take care yourself. The wins, achievement, goals. To motivate yourself.
Stephanie you are awsome . I cry when you said love unconditional and not to judge myself. I do not know about love. I think I did before. And I got hurt and became numb. And walk in anger bitterness and I judge myself all the time. Thank you so much. I am still crying. You really help me.
I've recently summoned up the energy to walk away from a narcissistic man that was causing me a lot of emotional distress; whenever we talk about things, not only would he not take a stance from my perspective to see things, but he would also say hurtful things to me in "retaliation" because his ego was affected. Your videos really helped me see the true light. Thank you :)

Stephanie Lyn Coaching Thank you again, for so much! I was scared when you started to say "people who spend time alone.." because I spend most - almost all - of my time alone - well, with my rescued little dogs that is.! So I was so glad to know I am healthy on my own, so long as I love myself! Just recently I was attacked by a neighbour (I was trying to help her) and it has had a very bad effect on me, but just afterwards, on my YT page, was your video about Projection and it described exactly what she did in anger ! Now I am learning from you with this video. I am so grateful to you Stephanie, you are a truly good person. I send my Granny-love from here in the UK, to you and your family. (P.S. the photo isn't me! it's an actress I admired, now deceased, who played Agatha Christi's "Miss Marple" the quaint and very clever old lady detective. I wish I could be like her!)

Stephanie, this is one of my favorite videos you've made. I smiled when you talk about celebrating yourself and you get goose bumps "hairs are up!" 18:37. So cute, genuine, and you. You're doing Gods work here. You're healing people. You can celebrate that! Thanks for all you've taught me the last couple years.
Stephanie ! you are amazing and you have helped me more than any therapist! I am greatful for your information and it is totally incredible that you put these videos out to the public. I am very thankful, you have helped me through the turmoil, pain and confusion I have been feeling after leaving a 25 year marriage to a full blown narcissist. I have come to realize that I am a highly sensitive person and an empath and I am building strength everyday because of YOU !! Thank you Thank you Thank you !!!!! God bless you girl !
I try my best to meditate and bring in positive thoughts all the time. The real challenge to this is when you’re surrounded by people who try and tear it down.
Forgiveness has helped me tremendously. It has allowed me release from all toxicity from that relationship. I needed to feel it, mourn it and forgive in order to be free because forgiveness isn’t about him. It is about me. He probably doesn’t accept accountability but that’s not business. He’s no longer in my life. I’m focusing on me. Unconditionally loving myself is a journey I’m continuing to work on.
positive self talk is not too hard to do, I have noticed that as soon as I feel some anxiety or feeling low, I try to do something to change it, I will listen to positive videos, or play some good music or just get up and walk around.
I saved this particular video and will listen to it over and over and over again until it gets into my brain and stays there💞

6:00 This comment relates to semantics, her core message is on point. But for me, when my inner critic or she says wounded self isn't supportive, my first reaction is anger. I think her language naturally echoes that reaction. But the challenge for me (that she obviously has mastered if her calm, non-hostile tone is any indication) is to forgive the wounded self and NOT just shut it up. There is a good go-to phrase I heard somewhere that is a quick fix to both shut down the negative voice while respectfully acknowledging its purpose, maybe so it won't come back. I forget, something like: "Thanks, I know you mean well, but I -- whatever, actually love my healthy body, or can do this with confidence, or believe that I am no better or worse than anyone else, and I expect a great outcome, or at worst a learning experience that will create great results next time. But thanks for trying to protect me from getting hurt. That was a long time ago, and I got this now" etc.
I love this! ❤️ Best self love pep talk I've ever heard.

One of the most amazingly important video I ever watched Thank you
first off you are so so beautiful inside and out 😊. I was shattered into what felt like a million pieces so which thoughts are my true self are hard to distinguish. Most are negative and wounded self. It's been a year and I'm finally getting a little better. I want so much to find myself again. I am an Empath male 41 and Divorcing my narcissistic/borderline soon-to-be ex-wife that betrayed and cheated on me very blatantly and traumatically after 13 year marriage (3 kids) which led to drug abuse relapse, stroke and complete self devastation.😔Your videos are so helpful thank you so much you're an angel! Learning to love myself one day at a time😉 11 months clean I Rock!♥️❤️♥️
