    Hey there! How much do you rest between each maximal jump?

  • @atgexercise

    @atgexercise

    This is Connor. I would recommend resting between 30 seconds to 2 minutes between jumps. When in doubt wait a bit more so you can keep the intensity as high as possible since we are training to jump high and not just a lot on these days.

    Hello, thank you for your videos. I had accident during playing basketball and in a cast for 45 days coz of the rupture of tendon Achille. Do you have some exercises to give to recover my tendon after and to jump as before. Thanks

    Ask your doctor about walking, walking backwards, and walking backwards up hills; when you’re ready for that

    When your doctor says you can return to training I would look into sled, lifting and plyometric progressions. There are many ways to get back what you do would depend on your exact goals and timeline.

    Court, you’re skipping a step with the new guy. You’re teaching him a 2 step jump, but with a run in. He needs to start with just a two step approach, meaning start with a right foot back, then step forward with right, plant with left, and jump. Rep this a bunch of times, starting easy, then adding speed and pop, before adding in a run in step. The extra steps are confusing him.
