Yeah same story. Now I'm puzzled shall I or shall not replace them. Was doing my BMW a month ago and they were hard but new exactly the same. Now doing LR and lifter kind a soft

If they’re hard to compress by hand , they’re good. If they are easy to compress by hand, they are not good and will break/collapse soon.

Jamais vu de tuto avec autant d’erreurs. En fait c’est plus un tuto sur ce qu’il ne faut surtout pas faire. Le bon poussoir hydraulique est celui qui ne se compresse pas à la main et non le contraire..! Celui qui se compresse rien qu’en le serrant entre les doigts est HS.

Lifters Only compress when they have No oil in them. When the lifters are gummed up, the check valve ball is unable to move and the things are rock solid.. Constantly
