So submitted my form 4 completely april 15, tried the email trick round jul19, nothing. But just got approved today, the 27. Might of still helped though. But today is a good day. Lol

I saw your video on Sunday and had been waiting since I certified Jan 16th. Email NICS with my control # and got the generic email back Monday, Got the ATF approval email Tuesday afternoon! So I would say it worked. This is my first suppressor and I went with the Aero Lahar 30. Thanks for the info! May have to start looking for a couple more now.

I sent an email yesterday. Received the generic email response this morning. I’ll try again in a couple of weeks. For those that are saying the rapid approvals are not real, they are, it’s just luck of the draw. The way the new system was explained to me is that before all form 4’s would go to one center for processing. The new system allows the eform to go to nearly any ATF facility for review. You may get lucky and have yours sent to one that doesn’t have many to review, or you may get one that has a lot. Unfortunately I purchased mine December of last year so I’m under the old system. It’s been 209 days and counting

Confirmed this works. I had done the same thing a couple months ago without cntrl numbers but this time it was overnight approval.

Watched your video Friday night and sent an email. Received a reply Saturday morning saying that it was still in process. Woke up Monday morning to an email saying it was approved. Eform was submitted April 1st. Not sure if sending the email worked or not, but thank you for the info.

@@sawtoothtactical404 So a small update, emailed the Liason on Monday(6/03) politely asking what the wait is for and if I would need at provide any more information to speed up the process. I also provided the S/N number and electronic application date from Silencershop. Today(6/05) woke up to an email from the Liason saying that no more information is needed and the application is in process. Couple hours late both approved. Just got a call from my local shop to pick them up. Thanks for all the help.

I just sent an email. My individual efile form was submitted Jan 26 so I'm at day 178! I have also contacted my Senators and House Rep to see if they can get them to do their jobs. I encourage everyone to contact their congressmen. Maybe with enough pressure one day approvals will be the norm for everyone.

I had a 3 day batch approval, 5 day and 6 day approvals. Before that was 32 days, 39 days, 56 days.

Tried this out and sadly it didn't work for me. First can submitted 3/19/24, second submitted 4/19/24. Still nothing on either of them. At this point I think it was just marketing to sell more cans. Only bought because of the supposed "weekly" turn around times.

I took your advice and emailed the NICS liaison last night around 9:30p. Sure enough at 0755a this morning received the generic Email. At 0925a I got my approval! I picked my suppressor up this afternoon and couldn't be happier. I had been waiting for a little over two months. So glad I ran across your video! Thank You for the information!!

Yeah. Trusts are taking a bit longer than Individual Form 4s, but they still seem to be faster than they used to be.

I got batch approval on 4 the shortest two were 19 days. I'm getting a couple of them cerakoted so I'm waiting on those to get done before I pick them up

I think your email and the approval was a coincidence. I get instant approval NICS checks every time, but this last can I certified on 4/22/24 and was approved on 5/23/24. By far the quickest one yet. I think with everyone buying due to the quicker approvals, it’s slowing down the new system, just a tad. This is still by far better than waiting 9-12 months, which is freakin stupid. That’s a whole other rant. Anyways, congrats on your approvals man. Have fun, stay safe

i agree i think it was coincidental too, i certified one on march 12, and 2 others on may 2 and got all 3 approved on may 29. i have a ccw permit and had no issues with nics approval when ran in past with purchasing firearms i asked and they informed me it was instant approval. i just think there may have been an influx certification that was causing a backlog. the influx of orders was due to social media informing us of the “fast approvals” of form 4 nfa items.

I use Rearden mounts with my Polonium K. I've been very happy with it and as a matter of fact I was shooting mine on my 14.5" BCM just today. Its honestly great on a 14.5. It's quiet and tuning my BCM for it was easy. I just tossed in a Geissele super 42+h2 and that seems to work pretty well. H3 might be a bit better but honestly its fine as is. I don't feel the need to use a Bootleg adjustable bcg in my 14.5 but I do use it in my 11.5 even though its a well gassed barrel. Just works super well. Who made the barrel in your 14.5? BTW, yes form 1's seem to be going pretty quick. My first ever form 1 was approved in only 4 days.

I put a Rosco barrel in my 14.5" and started with a Geissele Super 42 H2, but wasn't getting enough gas to cycle reliably, so I switched to an H1 and it's been perfect. I might switch back to an H2 now that I've got the can for it.

I ordered my second supressor from silencer shop, its a polonium K but it wont be in stock for another 2-3 months. I guess thats just how it goes.

That is the problem with these fast approvals. Way more people have been purchasing suppressors, which has made it hard for the manufacturers to keep them in stock.

I have been waiting for 2 NFA items that were submitted to BATF in September 2023. They weren't certified until February of 2024 Today I emailed NICS and of course got the standard reply email. We shall see if it actually helps.

I've been waiting 2 months now for mine. After the first month I went into my shop and asked about it if they had any idea as to why. I was told that because I have a secret clearance is the reason mine is taking longer and that they've seen returns in about 3 months with individuals with secret clearance. Also I filed individual.

This didnt work for me unfortunately

I am happy to read that many have received approvals after sending NICS liaison an email as suggested. I did exactly that but still waiting, no approval. I only received the generic response saying it's still under review and there are no further updates. 😡 I'm thinking of just resending the same email again and maybe some other agent handles it differently and gets it approved. Wish me luck. 🤞

That's what I did, too, actually. I sent an email about a month or more ago and got that generic response, but I didn't include the Permit/Control numbers the first time. When I emailed them a second time last week, I included those numbers and it actually worked. I hope it works for you, too!

Finally!! So I did an experiment to see if this would help push my approval through and I don't know if it worked but I woke up today and saw both Form 4s approved. I've been waiting on one since 03/21 done as a single shot trust. Last week I decided to purchase another Can but to file it as an individual . My logic was if the agent gets his hands on the new individual filing maybe he will also see the trust filing. I woke up today and both have been approved. Oh, btw I filled the individual form 4 last Friday and if it wasn't for the weekend then I guess the approval would have been around 48 hours. 😁

i tried calling and got told by the person all he could see was the same status i saw as pending. basically he was useless and said he cant push or do anything

hey brother, i have a local idaho channel as well. im still freaking waiting!! one is a trust submitted in 1/21 and another but as individual on 3/29. i have reached out to my congressman and emailed nics as well
