I agree with all you've said. I missed purchasing 1 at my local gun store, right when they were at 11 days. Then I missed a triple email from Silencer Shop regarding a Polonium K, a YHM and another! A day later, those 3 were sold out. That said, definitely good info. Keep up the good videos!✌🏼

Sent in atf form on April 15th. Still waiting. Hopefully soon.

Your ATF/NFA application is in process. When an application is completed, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will provide the final determination. Currently, there is no further status information available. JUST got this for me, hope I get it soon!

I agree, YHM makes a damn good supressor. I have the R2 and Phantom.

@sawtoothtactical404 It's built like a tank, albeit a bit heavy. But it has an inconel blast baffle for longevity. I'm only a couple hundred rounds in. I have 2 brakes for .308 and 2 flash hiders for 5.56, and they all seem to work well, hold tight. Sound signature isnt half bad either.

Been waiting over 3 months for a DD kgm 556 from silencer shop.

That's a long time to wait for something to be in stock. At least your approval should be quick, once you finally get it shipped.

@@ecobasetech4558Well; they are 😂 They have sales of 25% 4 times a year, putting them at the price he quoted. And they work, they’re just heavier bc they’re full stainless baffles.

I support im local shop as much as my pockets can, but i found the best prices on ammo in my town of BOISE,ID!!! Beat any online store iv checked on.

That's awesome! I've found that my local shop beats most online ammo prices, as well, once I factor in shipping costs.

For "fast" approval times for individual, your either fortunate or your not. Purchased third (which means on 3rd background check with atf) suppressor 05/09/2024 @ my ffl, certified with ffl on 05/16/2024 still waiting @ 38 days. What I'm saying is, don't anticipate fast approval, expect a wait.

What about single shot trust is worth calling or emailing if it has only been 3 months

M&P 2.0 4.25" with a TLR 1-HL, Holosun EPS full-size, Apex flat trigger and Midnight Bronze cerokoted slide.

I tried emailing the liaison at the NICS like you said to do in a previous vid, twice. Nothing. I'm on day 290 for a form 4 that I eFiled on my trust (I know worthless). Now what? Although last wk I did a form 1 as an individual for a SBS. Would the ATF bundle them and approve quickly??

Finally had one approved at 96-days, but my second suppressor is now at 69-days. I contact the ATF they said it hasn't been assigned to anyone yet, I emailed your FBI NICS email and they said they have not received a NICS request for the second suppressor yet.

That's why I've done a lot of research on finding affordable, effective silencers. With that being said, I've looked into some of the more expensive ones and they are using some pretty futuristic technology: stuff like 3D printing Titanium Foam to make them flow-through...

The email you got when you Certified will have your Permit/Control number on it.

I think you'll be pretty happy with either of those Surefire cans, but there are also a lot of other options these days. I just took my OCL Polonium K out shooting for the first time yesterday and I'm pretty happy with it.

@@AJohnSmith Yeah I saw that but I'm more concerned about price to performance. Since I know there's some other cans that are quieter and cost less.

Finally after 11 months I got my first suppressor. I bought two more on 5/21. I submitted digital finger prints, eflied and still waiting. I sent the email last week to the fbi and still nothing. But if it comes in under 11 months I consider it a win 🥇

Every suppressor can be used without hearing protection. As well as flash hiders, compensators, muzzle brakes, and bare muzzles

I've used mine without hearing protection shooting Subs. It was "hearing safe", but I still use ear pro most of the time with it. Being as compact as it is, it's not the quietest suppressor in the world.

Always protect your brain; hearing directly affects your balance, which is why a lot of old people fall (among other reasons). Protect your hearing.

@@sawtoothtactical404 from what I read in the application you do. Your 4th Amendment right to unlawful search with no need for a search warrant.

No rhyme or reason with these. Instant approval or 30+ days seems to be the metric. Ive seen some 7-14-21 day approval but for the most part it’s 2-3 days or 30+. I’m on day 18 patiently waiting…

@@sawtoothtactical404 me too brother! I had to wait 9 months on my last one. I got two in April hoping I would get a quick batch approval. It’s been over a month. I have called and emailed everyone I can. So far I have only gotten the automated replies of In processing. It’s bad enough law abiding citizens have to pay for tax stamps. Making us wait months for approvals is just disgusting. They should operate like a nics check. If it’s not approved or denied in 7 days you get to pick it up.

Your local gun shop is probably the best place to find a can, but the problem is that usually they don't have what you want. Luckily my gf is the compliance manager at my local gun shop and they carry a lot of SF stuff. I've tried to talk them into getting some of the new CAT suppressors and they don't seem to have much interest in trying. Its a common theme when ever I'm looking for anything, if they're distributors don't carry it, they aren't going to try. For the SF stuff that I primarily run, they always have that stuff in stock. Right now I'm looking for an AEM5 for an Mk12 Mod H build and no luck thus far. Hopefully soon.

That's gotta be pretty cool, having your girlfriend work at the shop. I know the guys at my shop pretty well and they definitely help find stuff that I'm looking for, if their distributors carry it, like you said.

@@sawtoothtactical404 I always get crap because I just buy stuff due to their distributors not carrying most of what I'm looking for. Its pretty annoying. The whole thing is a love hate relationship. I some times land some killer deals on stuff that I want, but its always random stuff and never what I'm actually looking for. Any more, I don't go in too much unless I'm looking for something that I know they probably carry. Hell, I can only think of one time where I wanted something that I know they could get in, but didn't have at the time, and they actually got one in. Of course they didn't order it for me. It was just happenstance that it came in, but my gf did call me and let me know. I don't know if any one else would have done that for me though. lol Like I said, its a love hate thing.
