I tried several combos and then just got my orbital back out, as it was faster and took the finish off better. I want to use the Surf Prep and am having a bit of a learning curve with it. I want it to be magic for the price, but I am struggling a bit to see the magic, if you know what I mean. Thanks for any help!

We’re you almost done with the piece when the client wasn’t happy with the color? Do charge more when this happens? I have some people wanting me to paint for them but do not have an idea how to charge them fairly. I realize they are supplying the pieces but it does take a lot of good products and time to do it correctly. Do you have a video on how quote prices?

Strange to me. If I want brush-free, I spray it. The whole point of hand painting is to see the hand painting. It's 10 times the work as spraying and looks twice as nice. You compare any two pieces of furniture and it's the hand-painted one that captures your eye. The brush strokes, the little imperfections--that's what catches a person's eye. Then they realize all the work that went into it and are even more impressed with the piece. I would never try and hide the brush strokes. That defeats the whole point. Remember, Ikea and Walmart don't have brush strokes.

I spray a lot too, but sprayers are not something everyone has, so I thought it was important to show methods for those who don't spray
