That I was drinking every day. I’ve haven’t had a drink since July 4th 2019. I feeling better God has called me once again. I’m going for it, going to the police academy in 2020. I’ve may have lost everything but not my health. Because without it I wouldn’t be able to Stay Hard! Have a wonderful year everyone.

Sam Wilkins last night I felt like drinking but I’m glad I didn’t drink at all. So I injured my lower back 3 days ago. It hurt me mentally. But I had to just get over it. Right now I’m in a bike trail. Seating on a bench it’s 9:37 pm. I felt good then down . But I’m just evaluating myself. I feel like God is testing me everyday. So I keep going. I felt like yelling some minutes ago. But I keep reminding myself what Goggins says control your mind your emotions. Thanks for reaching out everyone.

I let myself go... My mental health went to shit and I started smoking a pack of cigarettes per day at age 14. I am now 26 and still smoke almost a pack per day...I am currently on medication and am tired of being depressed and heavier than I used to be. I'm going for this run.... NOW... not tomorrow. I got to a point about a year ago where my job involves a lot of driving and there is not much physical work involved in it at all. I've always been skinny and I used to be in shape but after a couple years of sitting on my ass I realized I was starting to get fat. Now I wasn't fat fat, but for someone that was 140 lbs at 25 and in shape I was close to 200 lbs. I swore I'd starve myself before I'd ever get fat. My legs hurt all the time from sitting. I would sit all day at work and then when I got home I'd have no drive to do anything so I'd sit all night at home. Well, a year ago I got sick of it. I started skipping lunch at work to walk laps around our shop. Then, I started doing 10 squats every lap just to get some movement in my legs. I did that for a while and then when winter hit, I couldn't go through the bay doors to walk laps so I started running up and down the stairs and do squats every time I went up. It felt like a lot at the time because I had been so lazy for so long. Then I discovered Goggins. I watched the Rogan podcasts and I decided I wasn't doing enough. I'm no Goggins by any stretch of the imagination, but I was inspired to do more. I have been doing about 175 squats and 1,000 calf raises every day instead of eating lunch. Then a few months back I hit a plateau so I got a strong resistance band and started using that to do squats and calf raises. It's August now, so back in March I started doing upper body workouts again at home. I started slow but have improved. I never had leg muscles at all and I mean at all. Now my calves look great and my thighs look even better. My legs are fuckin strong for the first time ever. I kept up this routine ever since March of legs at work and upper body at home. I wanted to get up and run early before work. I hadn't been able to motivate myself to get out of my comfy bed. I'm not a runner and I have smoked a pack a day for 20 years and I've been at about 2 packs a day for the last couple years. Well, today I turned 38. I look like I'm 28 and I want to be in the best shape I can be because why waste that youthful look?? I got up at 445 this morning and started running. I didn't do a ton because it's the first day, but I am going to improve each day. Now that I finally got over the hump, I'm ready to do it every day. This guy has been my inspiration. I don't want to be as crazy and as savage as Goggins, but I pretended he is with me while I work out calling me a bitch lol. It helps. I've turned myself around. My gut is now a 6 pack. It's not great, but my stomach is flat and I got some abs. I will continue to push harder and harder because of this guy. Thanks Goggins. You're a bad mother fucker.

When I was a kid, my uncle told me that God makes a great man every few hundred years who truly change the way people think. Going back from Marcus Aurelius to Nietzsche, there lives a man who not only lives and dies, but forever molds the fabric of reality, truth and perception for millions of people to see. In our generation, it's David Goggins. As a vet myself, I truly do believe this man is made from a different cloth, someone who makes 0 excuses. We won't see another like him for years to come
