@@mickable3071 Not hating. Just trying to bring awareness to a very real issue. It's always so hard to decipher tone over comments. That's why I put with peace and love and the (: lol but maybe it had the opposite effect. I'm just saying it can be very detrimental to the subs, especially those unknowingly dealing with mental illness, to just say it's laziness and not even touch on the fact that a mental illness is a very real possibility.. I just think with over 1 million subs, there should be some level of responsibility held to address certain things.

@@mickable3071 They aren't hating. People deal with depression every single day, and you know what's crazy? We don't even trust therapists. We can't get help. We are stuck in our own mind. And what does society do? They make it an aesthetic. It isn't the creators fault, we are built to think a certain way. The person who commented this only wanted to express their frustration, hope you have a great rest of the day Mickable 🖤

I'm working on fixing my daily routine. I adjusted my sleeping schedule and made at least one meal a day for myself. Now I'm adding in being active every day. I've tied in walking my dogs as a sort of warm-up before exercising, so I have a reason to do it other than for myself. I won't start until they get a walk and they deserve to explore and visit the park. Once I've already done that step, it's only natural to finish it out by doing my own exercise. I also like putting on a video like this to motivate me through it when I need an extra boost.

The one habit that I'm working on right now is researching. I used to refrain from learning about the less talked about (of lower significance) things, but overtime I have understood that that's not really how I can expand my knowledge, and just "know more" and build myself. So I'm regularly working on researching and educating myself about as many things as possible, even the ones that do not concern me as a school student at present.

Thank you so much for this video, it put into words what I'm going through so well! I recently got off track exactly because I lost my why. Realising that was confronting, hearing your tips really help me to continue to listen to myself and give myself time ☀️

I really like that you speak to the viewer with a clear"you". It's motivating because listening to you telling me how to think about this situation or how to take the next step makes me feel so calm and soothed. Like my mind remembers what you say and it's a motivational feeling that stays with me after the video is done....so hard to explain this, hahah, but I hope it kinda makes sense. Thank you

I'm doing it. I found out that I wasted too much time spending time with someone who doesn't respect me, it seems a wake-up call that I need to invest more in myself, keep my spirits up, read more books and binge-watch movies. and also i realized that just do whatever I want, respect myself, somebody who fits me will come along (sounds like a fairy tale haha)

Thank you once again, Aileen. You are amazing. Your clear and positive videos are just right for me. I always have a ton of goals but learning to narrow down the list to what is really important to me in the long run. I love the 9 tips to get back on track. I like everyone else, I am sure, sets more than one goal and works on them simultaneously. The fear is for me is the lack of trust that I will accomplish one goal and move on the next, so I had better do them all at once to be sure I get them going and done. Especially for people in my age group where time no longer feels vast.. So, thank you for reminding me that multi-tasking personal goals is not a successful strategy. I love your outline of the two mindsets. I am definitely the one to look ahead and how far I have to go and its definitely a defeating way to look at success. Thank you for your insights.

While reflecting I thought positively and wrote to myself which was self comforting. I am grateful for all your videos and am so glad I decided to write them down. THANK YOU! uwu

Houa, by watching the video again you actually applied the following tips mentioned: (1) forgiving yourself; (8) focusing on the feeling; and (9) embracing imperfection and resilience. I, too, took notes but I'm going to treat my notes for this particular video differently. I'm going to refer to them repeatedly to make sure that I'm applying the gems in this video. I wish you the best, Houa- you can do it!

I used to think it was so obvious to celebrate your wins but I've been realizing how hard that actually is to do! I finish something I'm working on for ages and don't feel anything. I finish a really big project that I was sure I was going to feel proud when it was over and my brain just goes "It was not that hard. Anyone could do that. There is nothing to celebrate" And it makes me so frustrated! This is what I've been working on with myself. Saying "Hey, listen, even if it wasn't THAT hard you can still relax now. There will always be more work to do but this was a big step and you did well." Talking gently with ourselves is easier said than done but it's sooo necessary! Thanks for the video! It made me remember to be proud of what I already did!

Firstly, I cannot stress how much this means to me. Today, I've just received my tests back and to my disappointment, I've failed all of them despite putting in a lot of effort. To add on, this affected my performance during my extra curricular to the extent where I was advised to start all over from the basics. It had been a rlly difficult day for me and I just felt so lost and demoralised. Your videos bring a rlly special meaning to me. Although I'm not completely sure how I should take my steps from now on, I'm assured that I'll get back up from my setbacks really soon. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day :)

While watching the video, I can feel that I will achieve my little goals because of how much I relate to these tips. I was beating myself up and setting high standards for myself when in fact, being slow and setting small goals - it's an easy path to take. I will come back here and I'll tell how your tips helped me through this journey. (I always feel guilty every day for not achieving what I want but I forgive myself for that and I'll try and try again.) Thank you so much!

I can definitely agree with the fact that it is more easier to keep going when you are reflecting on everything you already achieved, for me who has so much difficulties to imagine the future, I can only see what might happen in the next three months but nothing more, life is changing so much so quickly. Never I would have thought I will be here doing that with such a grown mindset right now 🌟

My one goal right now in life is to find my inner passion for life again. I'm so used to going after finding work or planning to move that I never really enjoy where I'm at right now. Sure, things are far from perfect, but that doesn't mean I should be sour about my efforts in life. One of the tips that represents with me in this video was to review my why because I sometimes get tunnel vision and forget why I'm doing this activity or going after this job. Thank you, Lavendaire, for another helpful video. ❤️
