Me too. I’d feel like I gave myself away if I did all that for a boyfriend and then later on ended up marrying a different man. Or he marries a different woman. I just can’t do all that with someone who is only comfortable calling me his “ Girlfriend “.

The issue men have is the women don’t require all men to wait for different reasons. It’s not set standard that women have to make men wait. They tend to make the ones wait that they think it could be serious and/ or they like. Yeah but if a man finds out you made him wait and not others he will feel s certain way. The only way a woman could hold my attention that way was if she knows how to cook well and wants to maintain a home properly and isn't difficult with me. If she is giving in qualities that aren't sex then I will understand that she feels she gave her body away to soon before and I would respect that. Y'all can fight ya pastors on this one: Legal marriage is for earthly, legal benefits. A true marriage takes place on the spiritual realm. It's just leave, cleave, consummate. I personally believe that if he loves you, he'll legally marry you to make sure that you have access to everything you need, in order to be taken care of in the event something happens to him on this earth. I totally believe in legal marriage, but it's way too glorified for me.

Hi Tony, gentle suggestion here: you might want to get car phone mount so you’re not holding your phone while driving. This is just a safety concern. Please disregard my comment if you already have one and it’s just moving a lot while you drive. Just don’t want you to be put in harms way!

Issue is this seems to gamey. Rather just be with a person that i can do what works for me and the other person is receptive to it. Having to think about if im making it too easy and then planning out when i want to touch or do thing is alot of work. Easier to just get with a person that mesh with your personality type. Most relationships end because they were not compatible and people try to force it through money and lust

Getting to and maintaining a marriage requires THOUGHT and effort. It's not games. Have y'all ever thought about our male ancestors who had to marry a woman (or hire a prostitute) to have access to sex. If they wanted offspring/legacy, they had to find a wife. Men have a higher level of respect among other men when married because they know the mental work it entails. It elevates their social status. Men know. But they'll take the steak if it just plops down in front of them. They didn't have to buy it, grill it, or do any work. Men respect what they earn and feel more accomplished that way. We need to start listening to Jesus, Mr. Gaskins, and the mothers and grandmothers that have been telling us that men are not going to buy the cow if you're giving out the milk for free. We need to THINK about how men work, how to respect ourselves, and how to maintain boundaries with men. For example, my bf and I (both active Christians) will cook (and clean up) together as quality time, though sometimes we'll cook for each other while the other person helps with clean up. We kiss, hug, hold hands. No sexual touching. I'm not sitting on his lap. He's not allowed to touch my butt (though I know he wants to😅). We've had discussions about sex. What it means to God, to each of us (expressing wants/needs- we're not virgins), and for the health of our future marriage. We're not cleaning each other's houses (outside of what we did together) because when we live together in marriage, it will be OUR space to clean. I'm not doing his laundry if I'm over at his. When married, we've discussed that he dislikes laundry while I don't mind it so I'd volunteer for that. He knows yard work ain't my thing maybe besides some gardening, so that's his. We will both continue cooking because we enjoy trying new recipes. We spend time together chilling, fun activities/discussions, joking around, but also having deeper conversations (about God, the Word, our ministries, being vulnerable about the past, what's going on with us each day in the present, praying for each other, speaking on our future). We're all in spiritually, mentally, emotionally, politically, but have social, physical/sexual, &financial boundaries. We both pay for dates, but of course we treat each other for special days (birthdays, anniversary, Valentine's day, Christmas). In marriage, we believe in full disclosure joint finances, a household budget/expenses tracking (which he prefers I handle), with individual checking accounts for monthly personal spending included in the budget.

Well I was married and just doing doing doing and he nothing I end up dry and empty and divorced! I told him I don’t need to be fighting with you to have a decent life, he reward now the woman from the street.
