Facts on facts on facts. My dad has been smoking over 50 yrs and was diagnosed with lung cancer 2 yrs ago. He can get around with a walker but now my mom has to take care of him and do everything he cant do. He still smokes, his mind is bad, and he always upset about small things. I vowed to myself at a young age to never marry a man that smokes.

You got that right they have serious issues with OCD.. My ex-husband was a smoker and everything came around WHEN he would be smoking. He basically planned when he would smoke and what he would do while smoking 😮 He talked about quitting but then he knew he would have to give up coffee because coffee was associated with his first cigarette of the day.😢 I don't even know where my ex is now🤷🏼‍♀️ I haven't talked to him in like 2 and 1/2 years. He was having problems with his throat and I was concerned. The last time I talked to him he also spoke with my daughter, his stepdaughter. And we haven't heard from him since. I don't even know if he's still alive😢 Cigarettes are evil and my daughter nearly wasn't able to quit smoking, but she was determined to be pleasing to God. And she knew that she needed to quit that addiction in order to successfully please God. Some people may not understand why it would be displeasing to God. But there are some scriptures if someone needs me to bring them out.😊 Sincerely TAMI 🙋🏼💞😇~⚔️ PROVERBS 27:17⚔️

This is solid! Thanks for this information! 🙏🏽 Tony, you should consider creating "The Tony Gaskins Academy For Men" to teach men how to be men and leaders. Men severely lack positive influences and mentors. Then these men get married and can't lead their family nor be a functioning husband. Single men need you even more. You can have your academy open to local men to enroll, plus men can enroll internationally for the online aspect of the academy. Just an idea. Men also need to be taught how to interact with women in a proper, respectful, non-aggressive manner. NO MEANS NO! Men shouldn't be forcing themselves on women nor forcing them to do things they don't want to do. A woman or young lady rejecting a man's romantic advances doesn't give him the right to end her life. A 19 year old girl in New York was recently stabbed to death by a man she rejected at a bodega. Of course there's the horrendous Miya Marcano story out of Florida that happened in 2021. There's too many stories like this.

Ideally he would have seen good examples from dad/uncle/grandpa/other father figure, but if not he should have sought out older and wiser married male mentors in his church community/fellowship. Regardless he should be learning what a man and husband is from the Word of our Lord. Look for loving actions (1 Corinthians 13). Look for the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5: 22-23). He knows that he will never be perfect in God or his wife's eyes, that we will always fall short, but that he will always be honest and humble in facing those issues that come up. A man ready to be a husband, always seeks to understand his wife (by listening and observing), giving grace, as he is given. He is a good communicator and has good conflict resolution. A husband vs Your husband is another distinction to look into.

You are right however, it may have benefitted you to invest a little more time with dude. Walk in truth not faith. Churches teach lies & mix it with truth. Read your bible chapter after chapter & verse after verse. Then go to church. Pastor will use verses from OT & NT different books to validate his/her sermon. Skipping around using verses out of context. Do some studying. I left church 20+ years ago b/c of this. We are to love god not fear. For "Ye are gods."

Tony, what do you think about a man who has been chasing a woman for 9 years but he is 35, does not have his own place, only had one appointment with his BM for four months? The woman has placed him in the friend zone but he keeps trying although she has blocked him twice before. He has bad credit and owes back child support.

Nothing is there since you blocked him; you ain't interested. If you are going to give him a chance tell him to get his shyt together & what he has to do to appeal to you.

You couldn’t be more right Tony. WOW! If you could just teach THIS class to these “wanna-be-men.” Jesus did & gave it ALL for HIS bride Even as we were heathens HE STILL submitted to the Father❤ Peri YOD☺️Self control is a fruit of the Spirit. Tysm for providing this wisdom to the masses!
