How to Fix Levator Scapulae Pain FOR GOOD
Dr. Rowe shows how to quickly relieve levator scapulae muscle tightness and pain.
The levator scapulae muscle is a common cause of pain in the upper back and neck, especially at the top of the shoulder blade.
What causes this pain is tightness and weakness in the levator scapulae, and the muscles that support it. To get quick relief, this video will be broken up into two separate parts to fix this.
To get the best results, make sure to go through both parts (and exercises) and use what offers you the most relief.
As a bonus, all of these exercises can be done at home and may give quick pain relief... even in as little as 30 SECONDS!
Watch now and get rid of levator scapulae for good!

Last year I started experiencing intense neck, shoulder and arm pain all on my right side. I stumbled upon this channel while taking a break off work and school. I tried different exercises and stretches but it was hard to pinpoint the pain because it felt as if it radiated across the entire right side of my body. I'm now a lot more active than before and a lot of my pain has subsided, except for the right side of my neck and the top of my shoulder reaching down to my rhomboid. When I lift in the gym my shoulder pops constantly and I'm worried that if I continue I could seriously hurt myself. I'm going to take a break from any heavy lifting and focus on these exercises and stretches for the month in hopes that I start to feel like myself again. This channel is amazing and should not be taken for granted. My suggestion for those who are in a similar boat as me is to be consistent in the exercises and stretches you've found helpful. It takes time, proper nutrition and technique to build up strength in your muscles and joints. If an exercise or stretch doesn't "FEEL" good, as in you feel your muscles activating while doing them relatively pain free than you may want to rethink your approach or visit your care provider and have them help you get on a PT plan that suits your needs. Listen to your body
OMG . You have only changed everything about my life. I've tried pills, potions, poultice, acupuncture and massage. For over a decade, been told my nonfunctional arm is because of neck injury creating grinding sounds in my shoulder and neck so loud that sometimes I'm unable to hear people speak. Doing neck decompression while doing these stretches had a neck pop that shot down the spine , across the shoulder to my elbow. Then passed out. 45 minutes later neck and shoulder grinding gone while feeling Life and blood flowing in. Why don't they teach stretching in grade school ??
This video can change millions of lives, Thank you Doc.

Even if i did streches and sports. Only really hard preassure with the ball and excercises to strenghten it help. Still working on it. But in combination with the hip streches, it prevents me from feeling like someone that is disabled. Good luck!

I'm glad I found this video. I didn't know that it was called the levator scapulae. All I know is that I had pain on the side of the neck. When I do the armpit sniff on the side of the pain, I get a LOUD crack. It sounds like I'm breaking a bone, but it's actually coming from the muscle. My muscle is so tight on that side that it feels like bone. Then, when I do the armpit sniff on the other side, as I slowly lower my nose to my armpit, I get little mini pops from the same stiff muscle. It almost sounds like someone who rolls their back up one vertebrae at a time, that each vertebrae cracks, but the sound I get is from the muscle. It sounds like rungs of a ladder breaking. It's crazy. I'll continue to do this daily. I used to sleep on my back for the longest time, but when I got older, I would wake up with back pain. So, I've been laying on my side for like the past 10+ years. I have a special "side sleeping" pillow which I think helps. I just have to work on these exercises to get rid of the pain. It sounds crazy, but cracking my neck is pleasing. It's like I feel comfort for a split second, but it just pops back into place, and then I pop it again. It's addictive like popping bubbles on bubble wrap. I get migraines, so I'm going to watch your video on fast migraine relief. I feel like I have an eggshell under the skin that covers the skull. It must be fascia building up. I swear that one time, just recently, I scooted down in bed and didn't lift my head. I felt like my skull separated from the eggshell around it and I had to slide my head back into it. It was like sliding my head into a helmet. Crazy, I know, but that's what it felt like. -Anyway, I've been using a heating pad and professional strength biofreeze, but when I've been cracking my neck a lot, I use ice to decrease inflammation.
I think you are telepathic, sending you a virtual hug and many thanks! ⭐
