I used sand blasting on my FZ6 and i entirely lost my clutch, the disk were so grabby that it doesnt slip at all, and they eat my clutch fibers in about half an hour. I thinkg you should stick to sand paper or a less abrassive as possible medium, you just want to take out the brightness. I ended up changing the disks and the fibers altogether to fix the sandblasting damage.

@@aaron___6014 yes you are right, in fact i ended up with steel discs that looked more like grinding dics, so naturally they eat the clutch discs like butter. I don't think there should be two steels against each other... Shoud be friction disc then a steel. etc. Maybe they have not got enough friction plates to make up the clutch stack thickness?? Weird. Also best to soak the friction discs in oil for an hour or so before assembly.
