how much oil actually comes out when you remove the plug ,did mine and only 2litres came out . is that normal? asking coz ive only had car few months and looks like might of have a small oil leek but over a long time , so im at a bit of a loss , how much typically stays in the box some peeps say about a third . ?????

Using poweramp eq, bringing everything down but 31hz, max that, preamp to +5 and bring everything else up slowly to your liking will still make the stock subs sound better the then the earthquake. I have both and doing this still makes the earthquakes much better but it's so much better. I'm getting 108db with stock amp and it's down in the 36hz

Great vid. It helped me on a project I am doing. I removed my m4 seats for bucket seats, and I don't want the seats to just lay around. So, I am making an m4 "gaming" chair with all the electronics being usable. You wouldn't have a seat occupancy sensor for the driver because when you turn the car on, it will know a driver is in the vehicle automatically. You can't drive a car without being in it.

I’ve just ordered my 2wd 8hp70 N57. Going into a 2004 IS300 with 630hp but can now turn it up to 800hp once the 8hp is installed and running in the future.

Hi Mr 8HP Doctor expert...I have been watching a lot of your movies as I am also busy fitting a 8HP50 in my BMW e46 with a 3L turbo engine... Can you maybe help with a torque converter issue. I have a 8hp50 but I think I have a 8hp70 converter....can this work...are they the same...are they interchangeable ? Thanks Shain.

You must remember there are different versions of 8hp50 and 8hp70. The transmissions are engine specific. So whenever you reference something like this you must reference what engine each of those transmissions are from. A n63 8hp70 converter is very different, not interchangeable in place of a n57 8hp70 converter. However to answer your questions, i have never seen a 50 converter that would be a direct replacement (same physical size) as a 70. but there is a possibility there are some out there i dont know about.

Fords v6 can't take that abuse I keep telling y'all if it's not cast iron it's not rev limiter material you see it with every engine unless it's a newer model engine

not plug and play, but you can fit a 8hp to a 550i relatively easy. You need to look up n63 8hp70. That transmission with a turbo lamik or cantcu will work.

Wow I got many questions 😁 What is fastest trans brake(breake boosted) launch or locked trans/TQ launch? I have zf 6hp28a61 now is it posible to change to 8hp? In the future I'm going for 1000hp. But starting with 700hp 900nm trying to find map for ecu and tcu with tuning tool. I have my12 Bentley CGT my14> use PDK. What is pros and cons for PDK and zf8hp? How much nm can I allow on tcu as max in my current 6hp28a61?

i'm planning to swap 8hp to my m54, the problem is 8hp45 box from n55 is quite rare in my country, it can bolted up directly to m54 with a little modification in the upper hole. There is 8hp50 from b48, and the TC plate is flat and the flexplate is 8 holes also, will it fit directly to m54? AFAIK the configurations available right now are 1. 8hp45 with adapter plate + n57 flex plate 2. 8hp45 from n55 engine + n54 flex plate, without adapter plate i'm a bit curious, is it possible to mate 8hp50 from b48 to m54 directly? maybe you have the boxes i mentioned.

You will need an adapter to mount the other transmissions. N55 still needs a little starter bracket. But it might be easier to get a domiworks M5x to N57 8hp70/b58 8hp 50 adapter. Those kits use the N57 flex plate on the m5x engine.

Original owner of 2007 e64. 67k miles, and I have driven it all across the southern US. 19.2 mpg on interstate at 70-80 mph. I have replaced the voltage regulator ( the dealer couldn't figure out what was wrong even though I told him it seemed like a voltage regulator due to the weird behavior when it occurred. He replaced a slew of sensors and crap $8k before I lost my cool and made him replace the damn voltage regulator a $200 part. FIXED!), I also had an oil cooler leak that was replaced. Other than that, 3 sets of tires, (4th pending), batteries, oil, filters, etc. I guess the bearings and plugs are due now. I'll probably do them myself along with throttle actuator gears. Suspension looks good. No leaks! My only tear is the heavy depreciation. The damn thing cost me over $120k with tax way back when. I think I will keep it until it appeciates!😂

Thank you, 14yrs with my ‘08 and has been one of the most reliable performance cars I’ve owned. Most the issues with this car and reputation are from the BMW service interval of 15,000 miles between oil service. This was when BMW paid for service under warranty including wear and tear items plus oil changes hence the long oil change intervals. You also had many that never followed correct warm up procedure. My ‘08 all fluids changed annually and with oil changed more frequently but no more than 3k miles. It is sad to see the abuse that many of these cars went through and then the complaints that followed after the abuse.

Does the digital cluster is synchronised somehow with android auto somehow? And i saw, that there a several small bugs in the cluster, but you could update it via usb so there are newer versions of the firmware.
