61 years old and still learning. Thanks guys.
wow, excellent presentation by Carl and great filming by Alex. For someone new to watercraft this is gold, one of the better videos on watercraft that I ever seen, keep 'em coming guys.
I have watched a number of videos trying to hone my water craft. This is by far the best! Straight to the point, informative and clear instruction. Thank you Carl an Alex. And don't forget the water foul behaviours. Coots an moorhen in particular make a very distinct screech when touching or disturbed by fish while stood on snags floating in the margin.
Nothing better than chilling on the bank and having these 2 talk away and give advice
Regarding chub and barbel requiring or indeed having preferance to faster water, that is quite a sweeping generalization and one overly used in angling for these species. I have taken many barbel over the years from areas of rivers and sections which would be considered torpid and some might think not ideal for said species, generally I have taken the larger specimens from such areas and have also done so this season fishing areas of rivers that have fast or walking pace sections that do produce barbel, but instead I have actively opted on many occasions for slower areas, knowing full well that large fish in general don't wish to expend energy unduly if they don't have to and the same rings true for large barbel and chub. Ergo there is no "one size fits all" .
Incredible job, sir. Concise, precise, and quite nicely done. Yet the most amazing part is realizing this world produced not just one but two fools who could "thumb down" rate this near perfect job of helping others learn. Thanks, Thumbs Up & Subscribed!
Thank you Carl and Alex for giving us your knowledge it should really help when going on the next session
Awesome vid as always. Watercraft is so important, you can have the most trendy rig in the world but if you don’t put where the fish are it is useless.
Love ur vids can’t wait for some winter pike vids
I've been fishing for 20 years and still learnt a couple of things, awesome video lads

Freshwater clams can also produce bubles
Highly useful information. Thanks boys. Been following you for some time. If you ever make it back over to the states. Feel free to look me up. I'm in South Carolina. Untouched carp here. I fish the Santee Cooper system mostly but do get around. I've got 170,000 square acres to break down. This video definitely helps.
Very, very useful. I knew many of these things, but the bit about the wind working against you when the water is cooling down in autumn is something I did not know. I always just fish with the wind in my face... so it's obviously time to change that!
Great video!

Is it just me or is Carl like an angling scientist and Alex is an angling artist .. I think their different perspectives on the topic make it that much more interesting and at times to me as a new angler a bit mind blowing.
Great vid that not many Anglers go through ..

Another excellent video. Could you explain the effect high and low pressure have on the fish also please??
Wow Carl and Alex your presentations are reaching a new level. You are better than Chris Packham.
I really miss the longer content you use to release on your other channel. Lots of shorter content, less video diaries ect these days. This is great and I get the fact you can push your sponsor but I wonder how your other channel is growing right now? Please bring back the old style Carl and Alex content every Saturday!
Another very informative, well-presented video. Thank you guys, please keep them coming!
best vid ever

Please tell me what is the best baits for mullet fish and why is it so difficult to catch mullet
Great video! QQ, can you tell me how to differentiate between carp feeding bubbles and those from big turtles on the bottom? Also, do the turtles go away in the Winter? Thanks - Joe *I’m getting inundated by turtles in my local swim and it’s driving me bonkers😫😫😫
Many people are using ragworms as bait to catch mullet some use flour some use mackerel flesh
Nice 100k
Nice video guys 👍
Where do the fish go if it's unusually hot outside?

What is good weather to fish?
@fishingtutorials
Жыл бұрын
A light breeze, low low pressure, and a temperature of around 18-20 degrees seems to be great :) But I've caught fish in all conditions even when it's freezing!
Can anyone tell me what lake this is
What about river catfishes?! Do them really care about the water speed?

Catfish seem to like deep and slow areas normally!
What i need is to know how you find the land owner to get permission to fish
