Good advice just make sure your wrists are facing slightly inwards so you dont risk injury.

A helpful cue someone said was to push the ground away from you as opposed to pushing your body away from the ground. I found it confusing at first but after trying it on wall, incline and finally standard pushups, it really emphasized my chest more

another good trick is to put your shoulder blades together almost like you want to hold a pencil between them before going downward. helped me feel my chest a lot more immediately. stay strong.

The 45° arm position on pushups is what i used all the time now. There's no going back to the tucked in version of the pushup.

Studies have shown that the most effective push up variation for chest AND triceps activation are the diamond/close grip push ups, and if you try them you'll really feel it in both.
