A best way to mentally Fight it is to just say out loud to yourself “Trust the process” because there is absolutely nothing you can do about it at that point 🤣🤣🤣

Been there 😂 on my first day I couldn't even straight my arms properly after workout it was all sore😂😂
If you're so sore that you're limping around, rest that muscle group or you will deeefinitely get an injury sooner than later. Listen to your body. Being a little sore the day after a good workout is normal, but being almost unable to move is a sign to rest.

Really? What are you doing? Walking outside in nature helps my hip flexors
My advice is try incorporating yoga after workouts. It helps optimize muscle relief and increase flexibility. I usually do it before bed and it helps a lot.
Going really light and not to failure on what I would typically be doing on that particular day always worked well for me.
As a former pitcher I can tell you nothing helps with soreness more than long distance running… I know nobody wants to hear that but after every game I pitched I would run 3 miles the day after and it always helped me recover just in time for my next start. Did this all through high school and college

I'm going through the exact same thing now. I'm gonna soak in a ice bath tonight and I need some protein so I'm probably gonna get in one of those lil scooters for the old people when I go lol. Plus, I need to go to the gym to do upper body Tonight 😩
3rd day of working out.. 1st arms. 2nd legs.. today cardio.. my legs were ok during the cardio but dannngg they hurt rn 😂 been doordashing all day and getting in and out the car is hell 💀.
That is why you got squat Mondays upper body Wednesdays, and deadlift fridays.

What’s awesome is God designed our bodies to repair themselves, so when we tare our muscles for growth, they repair and grow rather than stay damaged. The complexity of the body and nature just goes to show God is truly all knowing and all powerful just as the Bible says.

doing 35 reps of 30 kg goblet (I'm 65kg) the next 3 days hip muscles hurt every step and ass too when trying to sit down like I know it will pay off but holy shit I feel like an old man sometimes. Gotta use arms to stand up

Keep that shit up fellas (& ladies) fr I’m seeing huge progress I try to focus on not taking a day off if I do absolutely no workout I at least stay in a calorie deficit trying to drop another 15lbs
I'd rather do the left/right workout split than do cardio
At one point I was so sore I nearly couldn't walk in stairs, it was so painful. The soreness lasted a week : / To be fair I had not been working out in forever and suddenly did an intense training session, so that's probably why. These days I don't get that sore.

Just did my second day at the gym yesterday(friday) and my trainer told me to come back monday. I was really f*cking sore on the second day, and hopefull I won't be really f*cking sore on the third day

What I do is a start the week with an all around workout. Then the next 2 days i focus on reps on specific areas. Then do till failure on the last 2. Take a rest day then active rest.
My first day at the gym and i already want to skip the cardio for the weights 😭

The answer is active recovery. You can go to the gym and lift but lift about 60-70% of your normal load.

If your CNS is fatigued you shouldn't even be attempting to lift, your progress will regress. Everytime you lift should be your absolute hardest. And a little better than last time.
