My husband and I often say that if the meteorologists are making a huge deal about a storm, it's probably going to be nothing. When they're calling for a "dusting" of snow or a quick rain shower, watch out and brace for impact. This year alone we've prepped our home for two major snow storms only to end up with flurries twice, and a major thunderstorms and a potential tornado only to end up with a 5 minute rain shower.

You pitch in everywhere! And what's more, much like Cole, you explain what you're doing while you're doing it. The 5 of you doing the farm work are amazing. The knowledge you have is amazing! Then Justin and his son with carpentry and construction, again, amazing! I worked for the USDA and we loved farms like this. When I first started, going to college, usually ISU, was new for agriculture and farming. Now, it's commonplace for at least 1 person to go to school, and still help on the farm. I learn something new everytime you post. What's more, I watch beginning to end.😊 Thank you for educating people what all goes into farming. You love every inch of the fields, every plant, every minute in between planting and harvest. The love, blood, sweat, and tears goes into farming. unsure how accurate this is, but I was told by a meteorologist that the precipitation percentage refers to the area in a certain location that will be covered. so a 40% chance of showers doesn't guarantee that it will rain 40% of the time, but that 40% of the land in a certain radar range will have precipitation, I am not positive that is how it works but the little bit of googling we've done seems to support this. Justin joked months ago during demo of the house that he only had to put up with Cole until Planting Season started, ha ha. They'll be back at it when the farming allows. I love both types of video. The house videos are fire though. This farming series is going to be very interesting.

I like your ad for life insurance. Most people your age don't think about it. I got a life insurance policy at 19 years old. I was on my own at 16. I had plenty of money. My policy does not require payment if I become disabled! I had many jobs as a teen, and very active. I never dreamed of becoming disabled enough not to work. I also purchased a disability policy. My thought was to use it if I had a child. That was my only purpose of getting that policy. My life insurance policy also produces dividends. Well, at age 27 I was put on disability. I was heartbroken. But, it was for the best. What's more, my premiums for my life insurance policies are waived. I'm now 60, and my premiums on all 3 policies have been waived for 36 years! It was expensive, but I had the money. That was the best decision I ever made. 😊
