1. turn off your switch 2. hold power, volume + and volume - buttons for several seconds. 3. wait for 2 logo start ups 4. there's the settings. choose wisely.

Nintendo kept turning off after it was on the reset screen. So I did the process again, and this time when the reset screen popped up, I held the volume button for a moment and it stayed on the screen after I released the volume button. It worked!

Yo let's go! I'm testing and setting up my brothers switch so he can see the first time boot up like I did with mine plus not to play straight away, as tradition, you need to see the first boot up and create your account, etc. Thank you so much!

Does this also delete any linked email address to the console? Or do you have to unlink the email user account first and then do the factory reset? Not sure if you can just perform your steps and its deletes all email and data together? Cheers

wait if you have an account on here and another nintendo if you factory reset on one does it delete the account on both consoles or just the one you perform factory reset on?

Does anyone know if your data will come back after wiping? Like for example I have NSO and have cloud backup saves so I can get those back but once it’s wiped I will have to log back into my account. Will my account remember other details like hours played for each game/application?
