Brother grew his channel by providing well organized SOD updates and then dipped (rightfully so, SOD is one of the worst things Blizz has done). Ofc balding guys are gonna be pissed!!

Thanks so much, and I understand the classic player base is very passionate and that is okay we do not take offense to it, however I do wish people would give games a try before saying it is just crap.

Love your SoD content and am excited to see more Retail. I play both and am glad I get to hear your voice covering both sides of things! PS. I wish that the WW Pre-Path event wasn’t seemingly at the same time as P4 release. Gonna be a time split.

I understand and appreciate your direction and choice of content creation, especially given the current content drought for SOD. Personally, I’m not into Retail, but I patiently wait (and use the time for other things in my life) until it picks up again. 🙌🏼 Given the current state of SOD, I see why you're focusing on other topics. Your passion for MMOs is clear, and your dedication to covering any WoW news helps your channel grow, which is understandable. You've always been transparent about covering other versions of WoW. 💪🏼 However, I've noticed a lot of toxic comments on the last few videos. Unfortunately, some people use the internet to vent their frustrations and envy. Many are likely frustrated because SOD isn't fulfilling their addiction, leading them to lash out in the comments. 🤦🏻‍♂️ To those spreading negativity, please keep your frustrations to yourself instead of dragging others down. Sky and Lance are doing an incredible job, and they should be free to create the content they enjoy. If you can't handle the current situation with SOD, consider unsubscribing and finding a subreddit with like-minded individuals. 😉

Appreciate the comment, and yeah I think it is because they are also upset with SOD and they are venting. We don’t take offense to it and understand and have also said since day 1, the wow player base is the most passionate in the industry, and they will be the kindest people when things are going good, and they will want your channel to burn when they aren’t. It is understandable but we are doing what we think is best for the channel.

I dont pre order but I'm curious about warbands and delves, looks promising just as the talent rework was probably the best decision they learned from vanilla's original talents. Every time I log into my retail characters I just log out. No desire to play it, something offputting about it but maybe eventually ill get the desire. I hope all of warcraft improves

Just reading the comments, I see a lot of folks calling out the hate for retail. I am excited for retail personally, for the first time in ten years, but that doesn't mean I can't see that retail has completely hamstrung SOD in more ways than one, the top being overlapping releases. I don't think I can wrap my head around SOD release schedules, and I probably never will. I understand that retail is the breadwinner here, and that SOD is just a side project, but that doesn't make these decisions make any more sense.

Retail will always be priority for blizzard because of the revenue it generates in comparison to SoD. If retail is thriving that gives them more resources to work on Classic projects(: Classic Andy’s should want retail to thrive so they can get more support for the client they obsess over.

What SOD content do you expect them to make??? We have been raid logging or quit the game for months now lol.

@@Memoop-iz6vk I got back into retail for the first time in ten years and the way you "learn fights" is the same as was done back then; you read or watch a video. Most of the fights in SOD were reworked, so it's not like people didn't have to learn those. IDK about retail community being less welcoming though. People in all variants of the game are far too self absorbed with maximizing efficiency, and while I get not wanting to waste time, it also translates into not being very welcoming overall.

What happend to exploring new game alone and try to figure it out. Like i played cata last month first time and i didnt follow guids but explore game alone to get feeling of it whats the fun if u follow guides. This is feeling why most people talk high about classic becuase u had to figure shit alone and explore. Good luck with retail man wish all best

Honestly who wants to go through all this headache? None of this is intuitive in an already overly complicated and flooded world of items. Blizzard still hasnt figured that out after all these years theyre still completely deaf to the community 99.9% of the time. Thats the main reason we all hate retail.

@@smoothierip5693 the game has a big window that pops up and gives you a quest or the quest will pop up automatically.....then the quest is shown on the map. It's pretty straight forward and this formula hasn't changed with every new expansion for quite some time. Also, it's a catch up mechanic, so the people wanting to do this are people who, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess, would be people wanting to catch up on gear....

Not sure what you guys are expecting from this new xpac but the content space is already flooded I wish you the best of luck but jumping to what you think is gonna get you the most views is a lil sus after your whole vibe of “ohhh we just love classic wow” like it’s not for the views or anything. It seems like you do enjoy the game but your motives in the end weren’t the game it was viewers. I also had no clue it was a Diablo channel before so I suppose this makes sense, y’all followed the sod hype and are now following the retail hype
