Switched from Rsham to VDH in DF and really enjoyed it. The mobility and leach feels extremely nice in M+ but I’ve been having a lot of fun with Fury and UhDK on the beta. DKs having a grip and a stupid gap closer feels absolutely WILD.

For real!!!! The hero talents are so damn flavorful

I can't quit Monk no matter how hard I try, but it's literally the only class I enjoy playing all roles on. I mostly tank and melee, but I can't stop thinking about Frost Mage and MM Hunter. Thematically, I love Destro/Aff Warlock, and I have really fond memories of S1 Dev Evoker. My Warband will likely be Mage, Monk, Hunter, Paladin, still deciding on main, but it'll likely always come down back to Monk

Big ups honestly, as a mage main through and through since wrath back in the day, somewhat more excited for tww than sod it seems. Def not happy to say that but I guess I’ll take a win when I can.

I usually try and play one of each armor type per expansion and then mess around with the rest in the final Phase. With so many amazing choices this time around, it's turning out to be one Hell of a decision. So far these are my picks but they are certainly not set in stone: Plate - Slayer Arms / Fury Warrior Mail - Totemic Enhancement Shaman Leather - Elun's Chosen Guardian / Wildstalker Feral Druid Cloth - Sunfury Fire Mage GLHF and may everyone enjoy finding their Main in the new expansion! ⚒

My mains have always been BM Hunter since 2004 and Frost DK since Wotlk. Back then we didn’t have specs though, it was an on the fly thing 😂 Have a Frost Mage, Dev. Evoker and Pally as alts. 460+ ilvl, still trying to catch up, haven’t played in 6 months or so

Mage and Warlock contending for main, with DK pretty high as well. I've mained Warlock the most in the past, Mage the most recently, and DK from BC through MOP. But I have at least one of everything so I'll probably alt hop a lot anyway, especially with all the Warband stuff. For me, the gameplay of mage on beta seems silky smooth. Warlock I love Diabolist and Demo changes feel fun to me (though I haven't played much in DF on the class recently, so IDK if it's better overall). And DK? Well let's just say it looks like they are going to be back in true form, I rolled a Mag'hari DK in Remix for the mix of Mount Speed and Pet Health to really lean into the UDK apoc spec. Stoked for this expansion.

I wouldn’t worry about the way things are tuned right now, they are going to start doing tuning passes soon. I think both are great classes and funny enough sky might be playing mage, and I think I’m going to main an aff lock.

The Video was a bit heavy on the "Fluff" for my tastes, but the average casual player probably loves it. Here's a thought: Maybe instead of doing long fullscreen Shots of the Art for the different Specs, you could instead put the Art where that black box over your Chat is. Then you could keep the game-play running a lot more while showing the Art for longer too, and it would make it easier to tell what Spec was being played at any given moment. On the one hand: I want to "Like" the Video, but on the other hand: it currently shows as having exactly 420 Likes and I'd hate to ruin it lol.

I think its important to factor that class specs like fire mage and arcane are difficult to play and will likely not be fun for the majority of players regardless of how good it is. Look at fire mage now in live retail. Its a completely viable spec but it has among the lowest class population among all meta classes by a significant margin because you need to be playing at 500% the capacity of the average BM hunter to output the same DPS. I recommend to anyone trying to choose what class they should play to make sure the one they choose is within their scope or you risk a lot of frustration and disappointment.

@@TheComebackKids Using M+ for example then statistically the class specialization is too hard for most people. Fire mage is a very strong class on live but it has a very low class population across all M+ clears across the board and only highly represented on +15 and above keys. The only point I'm making is that it's not a class most people should play. It's a class specialization only a few people that already understand or are willing to learn it should play.

Just go play M+ with random people doing 5s and 10s and youll find that most fire mages you group with fall far behind a decent BM hunter and Ret pally. Go look at player population and class representation and you'll see it too. It's not even an argument about fire mage being bad because they aren't but it's a class that only well practiced experiences players will be good at. It's just not a common pick for average players.

@writhes7170 well the problem with fire mage compared to those 2 specs in low keys is the set up time it takes for them to start pumping, in low keys by the time they reach the point they are pumping mobs are dead.

Death Knight will be my main, Monk and Warlock are going to be my alts.

100% disagree about the hunter. Reworks is good but hunter hero spec is crap. Lots of passive damage and horrible animations for the hero spec. The hero spec for hunter do not feel heroic at all but more like regular abilities. Look at warlock they can summon raid boss and hunter? A tiny owl? Tiny little dark puppy? Black arrow looks like a regular arrow that’s black? No thanks

Do you know why Draenor was bad? Lack of content. War Within doesn’t look like it will have lack on content.

The game isn’t fun to play at all. The game is too focused on tuning the game around Mythic+. Everything feels same and too homogenized.
