Lol 😆 Hunter is one of the lowst dps

Arcane Mage definitely feels S tier after the rework, also love Marksman being A tier. Find it so much more fun and engaging than Beast Mastery.
This is my first diablo and while i found it generally fun i have some concerns. The game requires to be always online, something I didn't expect for this type of game, also when being received with seasonal adversitment is not pleasant. I haven't feel what it is to create new characters but doesn't sound nice and being told that veteran difficulty is not recomended for new Diablo players felt like an insult, i started with adventurous but within the first hour I changed to veteran because i would need to make an effort to just die, even on veteran most enemies represent no threat, including bosses.
I hate they keep constantly changing which classes will actually be fun and impactful on dmg meter... I also get bummed the eff out cuz ill love new content and the recent expansions but of course i REALLY wanna play boomie or bm hunter but ive literally been maining bear tank pretty much the entire dragonflight xpac cuz i legit couldnt dmg on a plethora of classes and i love balance druid and bm hunter but they have been crapping on those two constantly and balance has been going downhill since shadowlands it seems... I played survival hunt during a season on SL and did great but of course they started to change and/or nerf that too. Havent really been able to dps since...🙄🤦 can bear tank quite well and do high enough keys to get my ksm done but im at least smart and respectful enough to not play dmg if itll drag the M+ team back so ive been outta the dps route for what feels like forever....~_~ my partner can literally dmg crazy awesome numbers on his ret pally but thats just not what im interested in playing... I just want them to fix boomie give them more talent tree buffs and variation options... Give bm hunter maybe a couple more cool spells and passives that relate to u bringing out more pets from like ur stable consistently..
I mean I hear ya, but there is something about sometimes just playing whatever spec you want to play.

Augmentation got hard killed in M+, like, hours after this video.
I wouldn’t say killed, the defensive buffs they will give will still make them very valuable.
Well BM has always been a simple spec so what you keep pressing the same 3 buttons that's what people really like about BM anyways

Brother Comeback, this video is probably well researched and informed but your thumbnail has 3 classes that are exclusively melee classes with another 3 having melee spec options.
Yes that is just the icon of classes used the same one for the melee video.
What about druids ? Feral druids seem to be in a decent place

@@TheComebackKids I asked the Dreamgrove discord and most people seemed to agree losing perma tigers fury is a bummer but the spec is still strong.
Shaman just got hard nerfed dont buy the stock
3 weeks later fire/arcane mages get solidly nerfed. As usual. Hunter will stay top drawer and so easy to play that Stevie Wonder alledgedly plays one.
Fire has been meta for as long as I can remember in the high end

Great overview.... I love my ENhancer Shamn and can't wait to play it in the new xpac. Might play Ret Pally for my alt too. Both look fun, flashy spells, good dps and still have some support buffs/heals for the group.

Feral main since BC here. Feral is really easy to get into these days, but I miss times like WOD when you had to proper snapshot. Managing bloodtalons etc and doing it correctly, being rewarded with dps, always felt SO good. But for war within I am switching, been way too disappointed with certain design decisions. First nerfing our range addons ago and then removing it feels shitty. The tiger furor change also feels bad now when going into m+. I loved feral, especially because you usually were an underdog as feral player and I cant remember how often people whispered me "how do you do dmg as feral" in actually EVERY expansion. Its fun to fight prejudice and prove ppl wrong, but also its not so much fun when you played every key 20+ in time and wont get invited for weekly 15s for 1 hour because people think your spec stinks :D The message is: Play whats most fun to you. You can play all the content with every class. I used to clear every mythic raid ahead of the curve as feral, meta only matters in highend guilds which are pushing. But niche specs can make it harder to get into pugs ofc, but the fun here is to find decent people, fill your friendlist...in the end this is what MMOs were all about. Not anonymously joining pugs and leaving, never seeing those peeps again.

If you are going off personal dps sure, but I don’t know one person who would want a warlock in the group OVER an Aug….

This video came out before patch notes, and even with those changes AUG still has more value than any other dps.
keep in mind that testing is still going on and around the release of this video new patch notes went up.

I do think Aug could be a little problematic, but overall I think it could be a great spec.
“This list is not based on pure damage” But also: “Destro lock is a loser bc it doesnt do any dmg despite it being really well-designed and fun to play :)” But all in all, interesting video! It def made me want to try out Aff Warlock or MM Hunter.

After playing Hunter for the last 14 years as a main, they have become so boring, Guess I’ll main Mage or Paladin

Should have probably waited at least a couple days on this release. There were massive changes announced today that makes a lot of this completely incorrect now. Arcane had already dropped significantly several days ago, now Elemental has been gutted as well.
We all knew tuning was going to happen, that’s why we try to make these videos as little about dps as we can.
@TheComebackKids sure but when your first bullet point on how you chose these is their current dps then obviously that is a heavy influence to how these were chosen. Especially since the first few were literally at the top of lists on sites like Icy Veins several days ago. To pretend like that isn't true is kinda silly. Considering there are definitely more fun specs to play than Aug and Ele. At the end of the day that is opinion but I think a large portion of players would agree.
I mean I hear ya man, and like you said fun of a spec is subjective, I personally find AUG to be a blast.

As someone who mained feral druid in several raids, the new feral is a huge step back. It's utterly unfun now. Only spec to be less fun than dragon flight as far as I can tell.
