How to Edit Megascans and Poly Haven Materials Easily - UE5 Plugin
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
The Material Edit tool is one of many tools in Dash, but it could be the easiest way to achieve the last important details of an environment. In this video, Jonathan goes over how it works, how it could be used, and especially how easy it is to adjust assets and materials from Megascans and Poly Haven in Unreal Engine 5. It covers everything from adjusting the hue to adding snow or dirt to your materials and assets.

you guys are awesome!
Great direction for the material toolset! Any plans to add caustics to water? Also, can you add wetmaps to materials?

No plan for either right now, but great ideas, adding them to the list for sure! :)
Nice work! Displacement is not working in path trace render due to UE limitations, i'm right?

Hello, Hello, I am your loyal fan and paying user. ...can you take a look at the parameters set for POST? Because I have always been confused about the lighting mode to choose..

Thanks for the support! Making lightning easier is on our to-do list! Right now we have a bunch of grading presets and lots of other settings in the Camera tool that can help you with post-processing.
Can you add moss to the snow and dirt generation?

For actual moss, it is best to add it with Surface Scatter, but it can be helpful to add some dirt, and turn it green before scattering Moss/foliage Meshes to get better results in the end! :)
