I'm fine with a little less slow pace and no holding, but deep breathing helps for me and this is a nice video.
We've just added a new worksheet and video. The worksheet is a chore chart to help parents list and track chores/rewards (www.therapistaid.com/therapy-worksheet/chore-challenge-chore-chart/none/none), and the video is a quick guide to deep breathing.
Great Video. Thank you. Only complaint is-would be nice is the exercise went on longer...

I like the video, but something you need to notice is that everyone’s lungs are different And it’s not the same time for everyone.
thank you so much!!
i was doing the exercise and i started feeling relaxed, but then as i was looking at the photos accompanying the audio i realized all the photos are over-exposed and now im stressed out all over again. no worries, did the exercise with my eyes closed this time. 👍🏻

I have this feeling of no being real, like I’m not here but at the same time I am and it’s giving me anxiety and stress and the anxiety is what’s keep that feeling there. So it’s like a loop. Idk if this would help, but DPDR is very scary and I’m only 15, been going on for 2 years, someone please help me
SLOW 5 MINUTE BREATHING THROUGH THE NOSE TWICE A DAY WILL LOWER YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE. TRY IT, AND PROVE IT TO YOURSELF !!!
My bp is about 140/90 and age 53 can I do this

Try the complete yogic breath. It helps with relaxation. If you are'nt sure then consult with your physician.
Great video. I also made meditation and relaxation videos.
Why does one need to consult a physician if s/he has a history of epilepsy?

If somebody with epilepsy tries this breathing exercise it's possible they could have a seizure as a result from this.

In my opinion, the exercise goes too fast.
I can only inhale 3 seconds

Islam Moon Then you should consider seeing a pulmonary Doctor or respiratory specialist to have your lungs checked out. Unless one is over weight or a smoker', that shouldn't be the case. The body won't take in enough oxygen at that rate to maintain proper function & people who are unable to inhale 4-6 seconds can easily become light headed & even pass out. I'm speaking from my own experience as well as my medical training. Best of luck...
