He didn't pronounce Edinburgh correctly. Its not like its Kingussie or Mosstodloch, which compared to others, aren't so bad.

As an English speaker, I often find myself rollin' r's like a Scot'. I know Russian and Spanish roll r's differently but I just unexplain'ly use the Scots' trill on my feet.

Im Scottish and Im wondering when Ive heard someone speak like this..good accent though I guess I just havent really heard it before.

For me as a Russian man it's easier to start speaking Scottish accent. It sounds like sort of mixed British (London) accent and Russian (Rude and strong) accent 😀😀

Eugene Choi Its been like 10 months since you’ve posted this but one easy way to treat the tapped r is like a d. So try to say the word but replace the r with a d. I hope this helped!

I’ve been mastering the rolling R’s ever seen I’ve was a kid here in Sweden. The easiness with imitating Scottish accents is just mind blowing. It’s almost closer to my native accent then potting on an British one. ☝🏻😅

Hi. Is it easier for Scottish people to pronounce Spanish? As I've heard that the rolled "r" sound is a little bit challenging for English speakers when learning it, maybe is easier because they also roll the r.

@RiceForLife - rolling the R can be difficult even for some people whose native language uses it. Try placing the tip of your tongue against your gum ridge and then drilling the D & T sound. Slowly try to start the trill.

Try: "arrrroond the rrrugged rrrrock the rrrragged rrrrrobber rrrrrran!".

Plot twist: the cat is the producer.

I'm Scottish and just to say that is not how to pronoun Edinburgh 0:22 and at 0:23 too much emphasis on gow in Glasgow and 0:25 way too much emphasis on deen and deen is say for too long in Aberdeen and at 2:19 that is a Irish Accent not a Scottish one .

His Scottish accent sounds a bit like Orkney Scottish.
