Well, it was more challenging than usual with no internet access (there's an almost state wide power outage here in Maine), but I’m happy I persevered and found a way to make it happen! Christmas is around the corner and I’m feeling festive and wanting to infuse more color into some more holiday cards. And who couldn’t use a little bit more zen in their life right now?! Neurographic art always give me the space to create something fun while also feeling relaxed. Enjoy sweet friends and I hope this holiday season will be extra special for you. Hugs xo

Hello my friend. I sure hope you weren't without power for much longer!! 🥶 Those are gorgeous cards and anyone who receives them will love them!! The metallic paints are stunning and the white dots made everything come together! I love the new color of interference paint it's yummy! 😍 I have been running around like a wild woman trying to complete my Christmas cards! I just finished and mailed them today! 🤦♀️ I am the absolute worst procrastinator in the entire world, it's not like I had a whole year to make them! 🤦♀️😂 Tonight I'm going to paint for the first time in weeks, and I can't wait! I have missed it so much! I'm just going to watch colors run together and add salt! ☺️ I loved seeing your beautiful smile and hearing your sweet laugh last week ☺️ Seeing you and Garou playing in the snow made me smile! I know you were having a fun time and it made you "snow" happy! ❄️🤦♀️😂 Growing up we always had snow, we don't get much anymore. 😞 I used to actually be happy for the kids when they got snow days off school! Hi Lori ❤️💕❤️🤗 Still no power, but the internet is back and I'm feeling confident the power is coming back today or tomorrow. ✨🤞 (We thankfully have a generator, so we have done considerably well with just a few adjustments to make. And thankfully, it is relatively warm out there for this time of the year 🙏🏿 - I really feel for people with absolutely no means to get heat 😔). Oh my!!! I am so thankful I'm not the only who procrastinates with sending her cards every year 😂 It's bad to the point where I call them seasonal cards and make no reference to any specific holiday because who knows when they will actually arrive at this point 😂 Enjoy painting for yourself my friend!! I plan to do exactly the same at the beginning of the year and it will be glorious 🥰 I used to and still really enjoy snow days 😁 Kids don't seem to get many snow days anymore and I feel sad for them. This is delightfully different and totally festive with all the iridescent and sparkling colours. It was interesting to see you adjust and change as you went on in order for the painting to feel right to you. I like that you listen to the beat of your own drum and trust it rather than just follow ‘rules’ fixed by others. Thank you for all the ideas. Hi Bernice ❤️🤗 I'm so glad you enjoyed this one too! As I was creating it, I knew it was a little (or a lot 😂) out there. And there were times when I honestly thought maybe I should scrap this little project and do something else. But, I'm happy I stuck it out! They are fun, interesting and like you, I definitely think they are festive ☺️. When I create like this, in a way that speaks to my soul, I feel happy no matter the outcome and I hope I can encourage others to enjoy their creative process in the same way. Thank you Jane ❤️ I'm glad you found this relaxing to watch ☺️ I used gesso to do my dotting! I use it a lot in most of my mixed media work - you could also use white gouache. I appreciate the question! Happy creating 🎨🤗
I am going to try this technique, but instead, I have an idea about a different color scheme!
