- Neurographic art! Oh how I love it! It’s easy, relaxing and such a fun way to turn a drab looking background into a feast for one’s eyes. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned creator, abstract watercolor painting is great fun! I hope you’ll feel inspired to grab your paints and create with me while or after watching this tutorial.

* Strathmore watercolor paper (cold pressed - amzn.to/3SSgpHq)
- For this painting, I cut my paper to 6 x 9 inches.

* A solid surface to tape the paper
* Water
* Paper towel (I like to reuse mine to create painting backgrounds.)

Oh my goodness Gabrielle, that was sooo relaxing to watch! I actually love the colors together that you did on the first layer. Adding the blue over those colors turned out just beautiful BUT...when you added the interference paint and the gold...🤤 just gorgeous!! You need a whole room, just for your beautiful paintings! Busy week here, it's my "baby's" 24th birthday! We went out for a nice dinner last night, and had some yummy chocolate birthday cake to top it all off! Time goes so fast! (Maybe tax season isn't helping 😂) It is what it is, so I'm doing my best to focus on all the things I can do instead of dwelling on the things I cannot. I love how unflappable you are when things don’t go as planned! Great tips for adapting unexpected marks and ways to erase them if they are still not working. I like that you felt that the original background was unremarkable but still saw it’s potential to be something so lovely.
