I love her confidence, and that her self-deprecating isn't over the top. Some use it as a crutch, including myself. She's got the perfect balance of the two, with just the right amount of energy. Loved her entire set.

Lancelot Dufrane ... free range morons. Lol. Being disabled I am very slow. Unsteady if not. I shop late when itz quiet. In the last 14 yrs I have seen a big change. A few yrs ago Kroeger changed policy and started getting on employees for talking a bit. This policy has escalated. What the corp doesnt realize is support went both ways. I notice ppl, faces, countenance. I would listen to ppl who's husband had cancer, they were well over 70 and working. Or loss of a job by economy of another partner. Loss of homes. Split families due to economy. We made the social fabric of our community stronger. Their new policy has 2 oldies ppl left. Young rude kids many of them now. Itz okay many of us around the community went to Hippie Mart. Just to be treated respectfully. They appreciate our business. Need 2 items from K. Safeway on the otherhand are so considerate. Over the rule helpful. Mgr help out w water gallons bcs late and closer busy. She said some trouble around, so she wantsed me safe. We have tweakers. This was a nice smallish town. Now 20K. Ppl are getting less empathetic. You cant be like them, it doesn't help us all. But like she said, itz hard sometimes. One problem is where are the disabled ppl? They dont go so much to K or S. There is lack of awareness. Lack of empathy. My new word for empty headed is parrots. In Denver I left in 1980 bcs of drivers. I used to think they were like the scarecrow in wizard of Oz. It was my defense non swearing joke. Sometimes even humming "if i only had a brain". I like the idea of Parrot Town. Maybe Tweaker Town too.

@Rose Treiger this seems maybe more specific to your circumstances. I never get the fat lady following me. I do get the "sees there isn't room for 2 people to walk past and goes in anyway" even though im already at a point from which i cant back up without difficulty. Then they stop and stare at me like "where did you come from?" - except im 6'1", so their shock and confusion always surprises me. Or lately i get the opposite, with the virus. Make a move towards a shelf and the 2 people looking at stuff nearby practically run to maintain a 5m safety bubble. And then occasionally theyll run into someone elses bubble and you can see them thinking "oop... too close... i hope theyre not infected" Theres a lot of shitty things about grocery shopping for me right now, but that parts great

YES!!! My local CVS has the same prob: underage kids run out with beer in the middle of the night while I'm buying candy...like a MAN...and they stop and look at my cashier and he says he's not allowed to stop them, so they ask if it's ok and he shrugs and they thank him 😵 Another time, the auto doors weren't closing properly. They tried that night to shut the doors on a robber and he pushed through the doors and ran for it. My work neighborhood isn't considered scary for this part of L.A., and THAT is scary in and of itself.
