"Dry humor" is my favorite kind of comedy. Kellen delivering very original, dry humor in (appropriately) a dry bar. The bit about a bike lock and Baskin Robins was hilarious, then every joke after that just got funnier. I thoroughly enjoyed this, couldn't stop laughing. Thanks, Kellen Erskine for the short vacation and Thank you Dry Bar Comedy, for featuring him.

I’m still sad no one in the audience went to UC Santa Cruz. The Banana Slugs has to be the only example of a college mascot showing how little they give a sh*t about athletics, and I absolutely love that. My brother joined the ‘Banana Slug Track Team’ just to give me the free t-shirt. He got access to a free track, and I finally got a shirt that realistically reflects how fast I run. My high school PE teacher was the only one nonplussed by it. But what else do you expect from a middle-aged guy who paints his entire face like a tiger every Friday night unironically?

Jimmy followed it up with a picture on the screen of someone who had been killed by a spider, and the spider was right next to the person in the picture. The way he delivers is insane. It's incredibly subtle, but the design of the joke hits you like a truck. The Battleship bit is absolutely hilarious. "They should just call it number-letter. It's bingo with toys on it" So good.

Part of his success with crowd interaction is his slow delivery from the start. It gives him time to think and you don't notice the difference.
