We had a really ugly fridge & no budget for anything new, so I painted it with chalkboard paint. It gave it a new look & became a cute message board & a place for my kids to color while I was in the kitchen.
Hopefully I willl have my own apartment soon and I can't wait to use some of your ideas, they are so fresh!
Im fine with my house right now, but I am DEFINITELY taking some of these ideas with me to my work cubicle! Especially the pegboard and being able to paint it whatever color I want.

The magnetic paper idea is also great with stickers! I have too many stickers and not a lot of places to put them. So now they're on my fridge! And it's great if you have trouble committing to putting stickers in places too.
