How To Change Surron Belt The Fastest Way Possible

Спорт

Despite the worn down and bent parts this is the fastest way we have discovered to change a belt on a sur ron light bee. If you have any belt parts or worn-down sprockets as shown in the video it’s always best to replace the parts rather than reusing them. If you reuse parts that are not the OEM specs it could be dangerous and could cause premature failure to other supporting parts.
If you want us to make a video about how we set our belt tension and the precautions we take to avoid breaking belts comment below.

Don't you think that is kind of weird that you have all the expensive upgrade parts but no simple replacement parts like the jackshaft bolt. Crazy!

Do you remember where the washers go back to? The 2 go between the swingarm and the frame? and the third goes before the jackshaft screw?

@@joem8601 yeah the washers that have the spacer i guess built in. the shaft goes inbetween those. its hard to put it in. but you just press them in not from the outside. outside being where you have your legs but in the inside being in between the tire if that makes sense

Wow, awesome workflow to get this done easier! Can you provide a workflow for changing the jackshaft bearings? As in, how do I get these out and new ones in, without breaking things? Thanks!

Hey I was adjusting my chain drive tension and just loosened the motor, after I got the tension right I tightened it back up and noticed a ticking noise, turns out the bolts holding my sprocket on the jackshaft are now rubbing on the side of the frame, how can I fix it? I never touched the jackshaft only loosened and tightened the motor

  • @gritshift

Id check to make sure the bolts holding the sprocket are not loose. Also if you have bad bearings in your Jackshaft (Really bad bearings) it could be causing your jackshaft to sit at an angle causing it to hit.

I looked at this vid and said looks easy. Then I realized you don't run a belt/chain guard? How does thie jackshaft come out that easy ?

Most probably, or either add a MX style seat with the Seat Extenders for the Surron. 👍🏻

In our experience most of our customers don't have all the big fancy tools "some do yes" but most just have basic tools. So logically to us it makes since to show how this is done using standard tools that just about anyone would have. And those that have the nice electric impacts and Allen sockets would be able to completely understand the operations performed in this video. Trust me I much rather have used something a little more efficient, but going back to the basics would serve anyone watching.
