Use genuine cvt fluid sir for nissan...

Hey man, Need your help. Is that nissan kicks 2019 that you're working on? Because i used the part number that you have in here. They said theyre not selling that one. The part number doesnt fit mine. Mine is 2019 kicks SR.

Please show how to take out the fluid cap before you fill the transmission oil. Thank you for the video.

There's a trick to use a flat head screw driver, you'll see a metal tab on the inside push it with the screwdriver and it should come loose

@@dachronicpope In what direct? If I am in the front of the car, push down? Pus away from me towards the windshield? Pus towards me? I tried every direction, and nothing happens. I don't want to push too hard and break the cap.

Hey do you know what the part number is for the filter on this? I can see the O-ring but I can’t see the filter and I the need part number that. Thanks in advance for your help

12 nm should be fine. Add a couple drops of blue lock tight at your discretion

Where did you buy the oil filter the dealer ship in california says my car doesn't have that outside filter only the oil pan one I have a 2018 kicks

I have a 2018 and can 100% confirm it has an exterior filter. Look begin front left wheel and plastic shroud and you can see the cover

Do you really need to erase that deterioration thing? See I want to do it my self just drain and fill and filter change but don’t have a scan too to erase also I’m still under warranty should I just let the dealer do it?

The Nissan mechanic i spoke with claims that my transmission doesn't have the paper filter, etc. That there are two CVT transmissions for this vehicle, and per my VIN - it doesn't have it. Is there are way to confirm this?

All Nissan cvt gearbox has external filters.

I have a 2018 and can confirm mine has one. Look behind front left wheel and you should be able to see if there’s a cover for it.

Many Techs at nissan never mess with that filter it seems. I think originally it was a ""lifetime"" filter that did not get designed to need serviced. We all know how good of an idea that sounds lol
