So the two resistors are parallel, which means you have two 4 ohm resistors hooked side by side.

4 pins = 2 airbags (well, air bag and pre-tensioner) you need to find out which one is faulty and then put the resistor between the cables.

Not allowed to do this here in Australia , by law here the original factory airbag and steering wheel needs to be replaced with the same

Yes it can, one for each 'pair' of wires.

Google the ohms of your airbag for your make and model, they are all different, although there is a 'universal' one on ebay. If its the steering wheel airbag, of course

Yes. But just buy a obd2 clip for 1 pound / euro / dollar... Download torque from the playstore and read your fault codes. Modern renaults have 8-10 airbags. The fault could be anywhere

Hey yes but what happens when you disconnect the battery? Or if you ever do. Will it pop up again and you'll have to do that process again?
