I’m sure you brought everyone back to their youth with the snow shelter, but you pimped it out. Open mind makes for awesome videos.
What a great job the dogs is having just as much fun as you are love the video
Wicket!!
Chuck I love this! As kids we always went to the town snow pile and dug caves in it. This brings me back. Thanks ole pal.
We got you Chuck. A Hice Ouse it is! Took me back to my days of building a fort.
Wicket job on the ice house.I have a pile of snow shovelled up also.will make a smaller version.Thats if the mild weather doesn’t take it.
build it and they will come, nice snow fort Chuck
It’s great to see you have the time to build such a snow structure. I can see any future grandchildren are going to have a wonderful childhood. We average 40” of snow, not this year we have 4” so far and warm temperatures. So while you build snow houses(Chuck-loos) I’m going to drill a couple holes in the lake and catch a couple Crappies for dinner.

Awesome video Chuck as usual .. Thanks !
Awesome video. Impressive.
Awesome video, Chuck!
Chuck you make me proud to be Canadian! Best snow fort ever! Better than i use to make as a kid.
That's awesome!! Reminds me of being a kid again. In my much younger days we had a snow dump they called it in the field at the end of my street where they dumped all the snow removal snow from around town. My friends and I had half of that field hollowed out with tunnels from one snow hill to the next and candles in each one for light and warmth. Nothing else to do as a kid growing up in Northeastern Ontario. Ours weren't quite as luxurious as yours but we did have pretty much a small house with stairs and all carved into one parking lot hill. It's how we survived those -20 to -40 temps outside all day. We had snow shelters all over the neighborhood!

Wicked video chuck👌 Brought many memories of making these shelters growing up in Goosebay. We have done open fires in these and I’ve even made a tin stove for the bigger ones. I do remember taking a stick on fire to all the walls to melt slightly, sealed it up nice and makes walls solid. When I was real young I remember digging a 3 level shelter in a snow pile made with a loader. Used to play tag all over the hill. It had many different sliding trails throughout the shelter. One of my favourite childhood memories.

How cool is that!!! Look out, you might just get some job offers from the Ice Castle in Quebec City!! That is an awesome place to visit if you’ve never been. Been there twice and it’s just as cool the second time as it was the first. Amazingly talented to work with snow and ice like that!! Very creative with your windows and door! And you even kept a pillar for stability!! Wicket!! I bet that was the best nights sleep in a while! Loads of blankets and those heaters going, it would be nice and comfortable I’m sure!!

Hello again. Once again, I'm going to follow your video about the construction of winter flats very carefully and I'll respond to some suggestions. It's raining in Poland and it's +10 degrees. And this is the weather forecast until February 15. I envy you this winter, this snow and these frosts. Much health.
Loves it b’ye!! So awesome!! Not everyone can build an Hice Ouse 😂😉😊 Fantastic content as always and Melanie..what a trooper!

Thanks for this Chuck...made my day! So fun to watch. If there was more snow and colder i would do the same in my backyard. I bet you could insulate the walls and ceiling with styrofoam panels and retain more heat. I would double pane those tupperware windows too😅.

Haha. That would mean I’d have to break my piggy bank and buy another one of those $8.99 Tupperware containers though 😂😂
Thank you for all your amazing videos, this video hit home as I used to build those 40+ years ago in the snow banks (yes don't do it now) and we would have a whole community of people in the tunnels around the property and drifts around the yard. Yes we had a couple collapses and no deaths by Snowplows (a couple close calls) and we had so much fun all winter. We had tables and chairs and played board games with candle lights....all when we weren't even teenagers...

@ChuckPorterEverythingOutdoors it all depends on what the weather does. I get called in to plow after 4inches of snow where I plow with only the grader. Kinda wish I would've bought a little ski doo I saw a month ago for sale. Never owned one and where I sold my quad , I need something to look at. Lol
Well Chuck you got the spot built there buddy. awesome job when i was young we built a few and stayed in them for hours and hours but now we can't get the snow to built a snowman. our weather is changing big time. looking forward to the overnighter till then take care

Absolutely. A warning though: those windows arent half as tough as your truck window so it may break very very easily lol!!!! Anytime my friend. Thinking of you all the time. Can’t wait until we meet again.
All those tools make for a great snow fort! You're going to have some jealous kids all over!
Needs to put in a sun roof to see out lol And if you put a door in and shut it I’ll be sitting outside, me and Paula lol

That's so cool, Chuck. All the cresture comforts....well, close enough. It reminds me of making snow forts when we were kids...the plow would pile it up and we'd build forts. Nothing as extravagant as that but we had a blast. Thx for trip down memory lane, buddy.
When I saw you with the shovel I was screaming in my head CHUCK WAGON lol then you pan the camera to it. Well done Chuck. What a great idea. Love the video as usual. Thanks buddy!

You're living large in the Big Land! Having a blast watching your videos. Cheers!
It's nice to see you are just a big kid having fun in the snow brings back memory's when I was a young fart making a dugout in the snow banks every chance I got we don't get near the snow now as we did when I was a kid but we got quite the snowfall this weekend 60-90 cm but I don't think I will attempt a snow house plus I don't have the big kid toys to get it into a large pile hahaha this was awesome can't wait for the next update
