    You didn't think of the fact that they could have just tried littering the floor with tacks, nails, legos and other sharp objects. Since Kevin Bacon has to walk around naked in order to be fully invisible, he is at a severe disadvantage without shoes. As soon as they suspect that he is close, the others should quickly throw out a fist full of tacks. If he walks into them, they will not only mark his location for as long as he doesn't pull them out but also severely handicap him in a fight due to the pain.

Hell, even lighter fluid, to later light him up. I’d like to see invisible Kevin Bacon vs. Some kids, or Home Alone’s Kevin McCallister lmao 😂 hollow man wouldn’t stand a chance.

  • @spiderFern

    @spiderFern

    Honestly it may have had little to do with the formula, and I only say little because his heart rate was increased. The serum itself stressed his body, but add on the psychological component to that stress and he was likely on some level of fight or flight mode the whole time. Your body is actually a whole lot stronger than you think, but it has mental checks to keep from tearing itself apart. These mental checks the brain does are subconscious, but they can be overwritten. Think hysterical strength, such as when a mother lifts a car off her child or someone walks miles to safety on a broken leg. If the brain interprets a situation as urgent enough that ripping your body to shreds is preferable to the alternative, it will often let you push those subconscious limits to dangerous levels. Basically, he doesn't need super strength or super healing from the formula: his own, normal human brain can choose to shut off the pain and ignore the damage he's inflicting on himself when he taxes his muscles to their limit.

    I think the serum itself was what drove him insane. He was literally seizing up when he was injected and obviously suffered from sensory overload of some sort. I find it strange that they'd pour silicone over the guys face/body, just so he can see himself. Just cause he's invisible, doesn't mean his skin (and it's pores) no longer exist. Within just a couple hours of a large part of his body being covered by silicone; He'd be heavily uncomfortable wearing the latex skin, and (wearing it long enough) could result in some serious harm, due to the skins tissue not being able to properly circulate air and breathe.

    One of the dumbest things they keep doing is splitting up. One on one baconboy has the adventage, but as long as several people are within a short distance of eachother he‘ll have a hard time to attack one of them without the other researchers dogpiling him. Not to mention that everyone keeps taking of their heat vision goggles. One or better two of them should keep them on at all times to cover every angle of approach so that he can‘t surprise attack them in the first place.

    I love Hollow Man. It was something new, fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated such as the concept and themes. The story, performance's, music, and special effects was outstanding and incredible. Kevin Bacon did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Sebastian Caine as he put tons of emotion and depth into his role. A brilliant yet arrogant scientist that has hunger for power and once he has that power it really takes a dark and sinister turn as he is tempted to use it for evil intentions. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. 😍💯👍😎

    Reminds me in some ways of a movie called The Projected Man. A trio of researchers tries to invent a teleporter, but when their funding is cut, the lead scientist tests it on himself and transforms into a monster. The female of the trio was his ex, and she hooks up with the other man in the group. Very 60s, very British, and not very good, which is why it ended up on MST3K.

    I am an absolute fan of this movie, ik ik that the plot is kind of a rip off of the book invisible man (also one of my favourites) but the "How to beat" aspect of this movie has made me fall in love with it. Also congrats on a well deserved and frankly a late 2 mil :))

    Maybe instead of playing along with Sebastian, Linda and Matt could later on go and tell Kramer the real results of their experiments. And also explain what Sebastian was planning to do. Makes sense, if the military already know what he’s going to do, they can catch him and stop the nightmare before it even starts.

    An invisible eyeball would in fact make you constantly blind or have incredibly blurry vision, its very reliant on focusing light through a funnel and direct light to be intepreted to the back of the brain, so assuming all of the eye constantly absorbs light, he couldnt even turn away from a flashlight even if he wanted to =P

    Thinking about the part where he said it's too bright, wouldn't you technically be blind if all and every part of your body was transparent? Light passes through you, it doesn't hit the back of your eye but instead keeps going, not giving the receptors the chance to process anything. Where my eye doctors/scientists at?

    If I were in that situation and I remembered that he can’t stand bright lights while he’s invisible, I would have made at least one section of the lab as bright as possible, and then I would have tried to lure Sebastian into the room. By that logic, he would be so busy trying to shield his eyes that it would give me the perfect opportunity to take him down.

    Honestly, they shouldn't have left the central lab until they haked the system, after that they should move in groups of three covering each other while using the goggles and when they identify his location they put fire on the sprinklers to be able to see him clearly. Way easier and safer way to kill the enemy in my eyes
