I'm pretty sure it's the blood yeah, because that confused me. If it were wounds infected by deadites, everyone woulda been dead already. Plus, Beth had been stabbed already. So, Bridget got licked. And the boy got vomited on after being stabbed. So now my only question is how Kas and Beth managed to not turn with all the deadite blood they got covered on. Granted I didn't finish the last ten minutes or so but still

Small nitpick, Jessica got sick before they went to the cabin -- as that happened after the rest of the movie, she got sick right before going to the cabin, so staying home really wouldn't have done anything. Unless she just never went down to the parking garage ever again

The Necronomicon is sort of like War Games. The only way to win is not to play. If Danny had unplugged the record player, it would have kept playing. As soon as those passages started being read, it was too late.

Agreed, unplugging it would have been useless at that point, as the demonic force would have just kept it spinning. The smarter thing to do would have been to try and smash the record and hope the demonic possession hadn't rendered the record also indestructible to stop the spell before it completed.

I think the real evil are the people who buried it non descriptly and didn't destroy the records. I mean 1 way to make sure the book never harms anyone would be to wrap it in plastic with very large stickers on it that said, "Warning, Contains Human Feces, Biohazard"... IDK, spend some money and hire a helicopter in Iceland or Hawaii and throw it into an active volcano. But people are too lazy.

Doesm matter once his blood was taken by the book from him touching the mouth it was over. Nothing he could do. It was an unintentional affirmation he wanted everything to do with the book when that happened. Nothing he would have done after that would stop it.

I say records not book because as far as I'm concerned, the book in Evil Dead 1 reset the clock when it was destroyed and altered events to ensure it's survival- Since these Supernatural books can influence events. Actually writing that out... Probably why the records were buried with the book.

bro this makes even less sense when you realize they are in an apartment so they have downstairs neighbors who heard all the screaming right after an earthquake and LITTERAL GUNSHOTS and did nothing Not only that but the earthquake just happened, that also knocked out the power. did it only knock it out on their floor??? no one else needed medical attention??? No one in that huge building had to use the elevator??? or stairs??? like they would've been better off in a cabin in the woods at this point😂😂

I'd just go out into the middle of the ocean with the Book Of The Dead in a hard to break safe, then toss it into the ocean so it'll sink to the very bottom. Problem solved, no hassle, all's well ends well!

There is an inconsistency with this film as when ash get turned in evil dead 2 he goes back to normal at sun rise and turnes back again at dawn but rise has the a deadite at the start in clear daylight

Ash was "The Chosen One" so he had the privilege to get "cured" at sunlight - but no one else did. Every single possessed person did not survived the night, so we cannot say the daylight would turn them off, but doubtufll

Ash can't be the dad since the past 30 years he kept moving around and he states in Season 3 his lucky rubber went 50-0 (despite the fact he got brandy mom pregnant) also kids never mention their dad lost his hand and demons wanting to kill/take his soul. Ash wife Candy says it she didn't believe him when he said demons made him cut off his hand and swallow his soul. Beth never says that their dad worked at S Smart or anything reference Ash and Ellie along with her kids say her husband left them.

How to defeated The Deadites In Evil dead rise Number 1. be the Main characters and Get Plots Armour as you can before it's too late Number 2. Gets a Chainsaw make sure if your hand is cutoff and make the Chainsaw is now part of your hand Number 3. Gets Shotgun Aka Boomstick that has Infinite Ammo/Magazines. Number 4. Now your Ash William to defeated those deadites and you can survives in Evil Dead rise and No Longer to be deads anymore.

Sure in the first Evil Dead movie Ash did manage to burn the book- But then he was suddenly at the morning before driving to the cabin with only his girlfriend. I'm willing to bet (Lorewise) that the Book/Entity turned back time and altered events in what it believed to be in it favor, having Ash bring only his girlfriend instead of all his friends and sister so he isn't overwhelmed by Deadites and grows desperate enough to burn the book again.

@@helion2018 the brightness on my phone is all the way up; also whilst editing many editing apps(mostly all) offer an option to enhance brightness. Thus i said “if POSSIBLE can you pleas make the videos brighter by ANY CHANCE.” I had to put the key words in all caps for people like you.

As long as you don’t mind being in melee range cast iron makes a great weapon 😊

The only time its acceptable in my book to stay in a cabin in the woods is if the apocalypse has already started. That way I most likely couldn't have started it and i probably cant make it much worse if possible.

Real question for all of you guys in the comments: do any of you have weapons in your house? Every single horror movie, people have no weapons to defend themselves and I’m wondering if that’s the norm. I know guns can be hard to obtain in some places, but I have several combat knives, pepper spray, a tactical flashlight that can light up a huge room or be used to blind someone, and my trusty hammer. All together, I’ve spent less than $100 on the above and it’s worth every penny knowing that if something bad ever happens in my house, I at least have the ability to defend myself.

JB - You are definitely my type of person. I feel like a mother at home with 5 daughters while her husband is away on business is SUCH a typical setup for a horror movie. The only difference is that in your movie, it’s the intruder who will experience the horror! I truly don’t understand why more people don’t keep weapons at home for protection. I mean, I don’t have a gun as it’s a pain to get here, but my 8 inch tanto (essentially a mini katana) would not be fun for an intruder to see.
