HOW TO BE A BETTER PARTNER!! - TMI Podcast KE - Episode 18

We are always complaining about how our partners are... what our exes did...how hard done by we have been... what about us? Are we present in our relationships? Are we putting in effort to to be the best partners we can be? This episode is an honest conversation about how we have learnt to be better partners. We also share the ways we weren't at some point. Being unkind, not taking accountability of our experiences... we have been in the hood. But now as we are evolving as women, it's good to look into how we can better show up in our relationships. Have you taken a closer look at who you are in your relationship? What are some of the things you believe make you a better partner? Let us know in the comments.

I had to learn the hard way that my man is not meant to come and fix my issues. He’s not my fixer. He’s my partner. I used to make him my everything and if he didn’t do the same I’d become resentful. Until one day he told me ‘babe I love you but you need to get a life’ whoooo I was hurt but it was the first step towards me working on me and having my relationship with God and having my girlfriends. On my 30th birthday I took myself to therapy and it was the first step towards me taking control over my life and my side of the relationship. And hurt people hurt people. I really try to work on me first. Love you guys!

Receprocate favours, if you are in a position to, ie he bought you a bag, one day sunrise him by buying him a shirt or socks . Protect each others secrets , damn dnt be an open mouth, talking down to him, or using what they told you against them, or share it with people , especially if they asked you not to. Be an individual , dnt go make someone the centre of your universe , let them be apart of your universe , ie have your own life apart from what the two of you share , have your own friends , your own fev restaurant, your own tv show , your own will etc , most brocken hearted people are those who put their partners in a pedestals , submerging themselves in their partners life , they forget who they are, they loose their identity , so when a relation ends ,they are stranded ,not knowing how or where to begin . Another important thing, is that enter a relationship expecting two things, a break up or a life long commitment, and be prepared with which ever comes, saved me from heart breaks to be honest .

Anytime I'm having a bad day and I watch a TMI Episode I always feel so much better. Also, it's the way you look at each other when the other is giving a point.. Like you can tell that they are actually listening to what you are saying and not just hearing. Your Chemistry is just on another Level. I Love to see it. You are doing such a good Job Murugi and Lydia. 👌

😂😂😂😂me have literally laughed loud when Murugi said she can't remember who broke her virginity had her going ahead to say he might even be in that room then your partner in crime (Lydia)😂😂tries to help you out by asking around it was hilarious 🤣🤣i just love you guys, you guy my guys...i really wish episodes are 2 in week, but it is well am trying to understand. Now i have a question on how do you know he is the one... There is this guy we once worked in the same company but parted ways years back. Lately we have been talking, he is single i am single had through the convos he told me like everything about him and his family, how he grew up i mean in a nutshell all round him, me too i had to do the same. We talk like every day anything and everything till midnights. When he does something during the day had we happens to talk that day somehow he always mentions it to me even without me asking or even ask my opinion if he wants to get something for someone or his family member. Now the problems starts here😄 ,before i didn't feel anything towards him i thought he was just a friend who happens to trust me but now i feel the connection because if he doesn't text me like 2-3days i feel so bad and with my pride i can't ask him him if he feels the same. Now thats not even the main problem, its been a couple of months had he hasn't asked me out, or mention anything close to like i love you or i like you we are just there. Please help a babygal maybe am building my own castles on the air 🤦 nikanyage kubwa kubwa🤣🤣🤣
