Having lived in the UK for nearly three decades, I should have had a lot of exposure to English spoken by real people but the reality is a different story. In Brazil students go to the english Institutes to learn English and they sometimes study years, 3, 4 years and leave schools without speaking. What do you recommend to avoid this? Also, when they realize this things are happen to them, they get so upset, unmotivated, etc.. .tks a lot for your help.
