I love British and Australian accents. I had been living in Australia during one and a half and I try to imitate some words from there and also some words from British accent. However, I always end up speaking like American, which I don´t like. I already met some people and they said me if I am American hahaha I'm not racist and I respect everyone but personally, I don't like American accent but in Brazil, my home country, we are bombarded by American accent. I like your videos and your accent is pretty clear. I'm try to shadow you always haha

hey, I believe your comment's the best, precise and endearing one that I've seen lately, mainly when it comes to the way we are usually bombed by the USA's influence in our home country, Brazil. I've been studying English for about a year, focused on British accent, and I have to deal with the same problems.

Hi Mate, I'm Italian. Recently, I've been watchin' lots of ur videos, As I find 'em very inspiring. In addition, I really pay attention to ur suggestion. I've already achieved B2 level and I've been working for months on C1 level. To be honest, I shouldn't have problems in doin' Use of English tasks. I feel I've already improved a lot in Listening. Clearly, I don't figure the 100% of words out, but I do understand enough. WIth reference to writing, I haven't been practising it since December, As the thing I firstly wanted to focus on was Grammar & vocabulary as well, for having thought over the fact I, admittedly, feel I' was quite good at writing, but the main problems lain on lack of synonyms. As a matter of fact, to sum up, I've been studying Grammar as well as lookin' the dictionary up, outlinin' interesting words and then reportin' them on new sheets which will be studied. Actually, just yesterday, I decided to give it a break ( 2 books of grammar , altogether 300 pages I assume it's enough) as I aspire at improving my Pronunciation, and, consequently, my speakin' skill. Moreover, I m due to start studyin a collocation book in 1 week. Anyhow, Despite knowin' lots of things about English, such as spelling rules, schwa sound ( found it out recently, as we are not taught it here :O ) I have diffculties in puttin' all this tremendous knowledge into practice. I don't know If I lest I could be judged by Native spearkes, but, on the other hand, what I do know is that I'm very keen on English. Provided the fact here we're not accustomed to speakin' it on a daily basis, it's awesome for me to have started dreamin' in English ( dunno how). What do u think I might do to improve my fluency? Two things worth being mentioned; the first is that When I try to speak, I don't even think of what I'm going to say: I mean, If I have to say anything, I just do it, pretendin' to be a native speaker, so to say. The problem is that if I had to say something like this whole text, definitely, I will end up makin' mistakes of usin' the same words somewhere, nonetheless I know a large number of them. The second is that I'm determined to start Business and Management course (at University) ,which is utterly provided in English. I wish I would British :/ Anyway, I look forward to ur reply.

I have a question for you which sort of refers to another comment I saw further down. Sometimes, when native speakers talk about something in the past tense they use the word "would". As in "One day she would stop by, the next she wouldn't even look at me." Is "would" used to emphasize a repetitive event and am I right to assume that this is more of a conversational expression? I think it might be interesting to do a video on vocabulary you need to describe things in your home. Even though I'm not a beginner, I sometimes struggle when I want to describe things around the house (e.g. windowsill, kitchen sinkt, tap and the likes). Anyway, thank you for another interesting and helpful lesson
